With all due respect, @Ralij, I'd like to volunteer for Phalanx.
Although my combat experience is somewhat limited, I would be extremely useful on the front lines. My shell has been reconfigured to house several Peeper reconnaissance squadrons as well as an array of Tiger Plants, Creepvine Stalks, and Brain Corals. I have extensively perused Phalanx's after-action reports, and I'd be happy to share any and all information I've uncovered pertaining to the creatures of the Underworld with Phalanx's soldiers in order to better fight the menace of Pater Aestus and his Unheard. I've also gone over the files released by the FMMA regarding the Precursors, which I have so far found fascinating. My knowledge regarding these subjects would be invaluable in the field.

Why do you think I don't use the more overpowered aspects of the FMMA, instead taking the path of diplomacy and "cientific medical reports". Everything I do now is in-universe and in-character, so it doesn't break the story of the thread. Did you know I usually talk to people before posting something here, so there is an agreement of how some actions and their consequences will occur?

As for this "unheard", we have contained it before and we will contain it again. The sea emperor has become corrupt by the carar and has become a hive mind. After milenia of partial treatment, the carar in its body has become immune to the enzyme 42 so the only choice is to exterminate its entire race. Starting with the captured infants. *sound of 1000 degree knife vs emperor infant* don't worry it's genome has been recorded so clones can be made.

We need more help sorting out the bodies of the innocents here. FMMA troops have already cleared the bodies of their colleagues. The bodies of the innocents are too many, and on many cases their integrity is greatly compromised - the only thing left on some bodies is either a single fin, a single claw, at most cases. We need to sort this, decontaminate the bodies from Carar, and return then to their families...We need help with that.
Many warriors of the FMMA are painting their bodies. They say it is to remember those who have fallen, both from the FMMA as for the innocents on the Battle of the Institute. Their diaries, upon permission granted by the psychology department, shows they paint as a sign of shame from failing to protect those under their care, and they also acquired something terrifying: pure, unadultered hatred. Although my combat experience is somewhat limited, I would be extremely useful on the front lines. My shell has been reconfigured to house several Peeper reconnaissance squadrons as well as an array of Tiger Plants, Creepvine Stalks, and Brain Corals. I have extensively perused Phalanx's after-action reports, and I'd be happy to share any and all information I've uncovered pertaining to the creatures of the Underworld with Phalanx's soldiers in order to better fight the menace of Pater Aestus and his Unheard. Species 3: designation, lava spitter, internal organs are covered in a quarts crystal, either ingested or grown from within. The quarts absorb heat given from the liquid magma to not damage the creature. Sensors indicate the species ingested nearby rock during the assault to "reload" its supply of magma.
Species 4: designation, biter leviathan, the creature resembles a biter but with exstream elephantitus and green pustules growing from its skin. During the battle these pustules "popped" and unleashed a larger swarm (25-60) of biters that caught the mechs by surprise. These biters swarms were observed to by green in colour and with elongated mouths. These biters have been named "swarm biters" and have been listed as "species 4-1"
Side notes: new battle data was successful in predicting future strategies that the hive mind may use, however with the species constantly evolving and not all known species being catalogued to the databanks, this advantage might be temporary.
Further data is needed, moving to "lesser blood kelp" data storage facilitiy. The inhabitants of the research facility will have a far greater knowledge then us.
