2-3 Shots And Dead

<div class="IPBDescription">WHY oh God why???</div> It seems like sometimes someone will get in the server that is just a God. Start of game, no upgrades, and yet a marine can walk around pump 2-3 bullets from the machine gun in a skulk and your dead.
Now I am not saying people are hacking, but I went with some people and we tested this, no matter what direction I shot from, or no matter where I shot the skulk I had to put at least 10 shots in him. So what I want to know is are these people doing something I do not know about. Is there a secret shot we should all be aiming for, or are these people just hacking.
Its always the same people too, we could have the best of the best in the server playing, then one guy gets on and takes out all the aliens with half a clip.
AIM bot? (are there any that work with NS)
Or just all skill (and if so HOW)

Its not very rare that, i have that much.
It happens that when you are sitting on distance and the <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> are rushing you can take em out all.
Just dont start emptying youre clip in 3 seconds. Try to be smart and shoot when u aim on the skulk. I am even sure that i got more then 4 yet.

One thing i hope that Natural-Selection doesnt get ruined by cheaters who cant win their game withour h4ckz like in counter-strike.(reason why i stopped stupid cs)

He must be, because the most I've ever seen at once in 3 skulks, and this guy was just camping in a corner.
So I still chose to believe it. Skulks are brittle little things if caught at range.

It depends on how you tend to shoot . Short bursts are very accurate and kill skulks fast , but if you keep shooting , you can be sure that out of 40 bullets that you shoot at the skulk , less than 10 hit it .
However, sometimes it's obvious it's lag when the person has 150+ ping. But seriously, good marines are so hard to kill. Even when you ambush them, they can survive. One game, our WHOLE alien team got destroyed by ONE single marine. He practically never missed a bullet, and he clicked his pistol uber fast, and jumped around sooooo damn frantically that we kept on losing him even when we could get close.
I think a really good marine really outshines an equally good skulk, in ANY situation <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
A) lag
B) some kind of glitch/bug
C) cheaters
Well, the thing is good players choose their fights and get good ground. A good skulk doesn't just charge in, he waits for the right moment...
I just wish they'd increase the range of the parasite...
Marine's > Uncarapaced skulk's
Carapaced Skulk > Marine Short Range = Marine Medium Range
Carapaced Skulk's > Marine's any situation
This is assuming high skill level of both sides, obviously if your not a a great player then you wont do as well.
You can argue marine upgrades but they are not usualy a significant factor before aliens get fades.
Me: "Hey commander, Archiving's empty."
Comm: "Great. Hold it for me, would you?"
Me: "Uh, okay. Say, um, comm, I can hear a whole lot of Skulks outside."
Comm: "Don't have any resources to put anything down. Here, have a medpack."
Me: "Oh, that's great. I can throw it at the Skulks."
Surprisingly, I actually did manage to hold the hive until reinforcements arrived. I was next to dead with almost no ammo left, but we got it, and went on to win that round.

Not really. Though I always play aliens when I can because I love the fast paced, ambushy sneaky playing style, I make a pretty uber marine too. I mean, 10 bullets to kill an uncarapaced skulk when you have 50? I can kill them even if they ambush me, and vice versa. I've been killed by marines caught by total surprize just because they could jump 2 of my attacks <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Newbie gorges should commit this to memory.
Get those d-chambers up early, you'll nearly double the effectiveness of your skulks.
Also, a skulk rush is wastefull against any half-skilled marine team.
Uncarapaced skulks are very easy to kill. Its fun just camping in the hive and killing the uncarapaced skulks as they spawn.
yep. totally true.
and back on the lag issue, it doesn't matter about your ping. all it takes is a tiny server hiccup to give this effect. i've seen it happen enough to be pretty sure.
Then again, i've recently heard something about your FPS affecting things like how much jetpack usage you get, your gun's RATE OF FIRE, and other scary stuff....
