Sometimes I could swear cs players kept playing because they're addicts. Like why heroin abusers keep injecting. They don't seem to have an awful lot of fun.

Perhaps they should stop releasing their pent up emotions like that. Some guy had a bigger **** than you. Live with it. Don't start slurring. If you behave like that in any regular sport you're going to be getting some unwanted attention by the referees. I don't know about you, but the most embarassing and uncomfortable I know is to see other people loose their heads in public. I'd be ashamed if I were them, but they probably nurture some "I AM GOD" complex and throws hissy fits each time Reality reminds them that they aren't. A stage which lots of people go through as young children.

Perhaps you come from a part of the world were kicking up sand into your fellow players is considered nice behaviour. Where yelling at the store clerk at the top of your lungs when he cannot procure a particular item. Where uncontrolled emotional outbursts is looked upon as a virtue and not a vice. I don't. And I surely dislike people who's exploding into "#&"#&#"& when ever The Universe defies their fragile ego's. I do believe the very NATURE of CS gameplay brings out the potty mouth in too many people, also those of us who normally don't go around feeling nice being an arsehole towards other people. I stopped playing CS because the "mood" on the servesr I played on became really putrid and hateful.
I'd do that too if we didnt have some sort of consensus on it. AS it is now the game is tilted towards marine owning the aliens if they either jp rush or hive lock down. Aliens need that carapace for the extra second of combat. So if someone starts to get sensories first, without any kind of warning (or discussion) I'd be a bit upset too. Because I know what a fragile balance exists in the early game, and how important Defense Chambers are to that. Cloaking is not going to do you much good if the marines just turtle up in a hive or hog ressources for a tech rush.
But generally I think people act well on ns servers.
Comments
