    I have never made a skin out of scratch before. Actually the only highlighted picture I have made on a computer is the dropship concept I released on this forum.

Its awfull low res so i'm gona close my eyes for 8 hours then i'm gona release my BFG on it ( Adobe Photoshop & Imageready ).     This made me wonder: if LA and HA have skin families, why not the weapons too? Hell, why not every model in the game for a bit more variety?

    Has anyone tried this on any other models yet?

    Wow Duo, nice rip of my skin. All you did was desaturate it and fit it to this guy's mesh. Did you really think nobody would notice how closely it resembles my skin? Not that it really makes a difference since I really credit the skin to AVP 2, all I did was alter it quite a bit to make it look more weathered. However I'm insulted that you would take the 2-3 hours of work I spent on that skin and call it your own after taking 5 minutes to figure out how you could make it look slightly different to decieve the unknowing. I'm ashamed that there are people like you who participate in the modeling community, and I hope your plagiaristic
    behavior doesn't echo into other avenues of life beyond this.

    Just look at this comparison... Look at it and tell me he didn't rip my skin.

    Yea and he made them greyscale. Duo I think its funny how they're "awful low res"...what you mean is "They're low res cause I had to stretch them to fit the mesh"

    Duo... Isnt your skin a rip from the skin for the Desolation model skinned by Bots???

    SRY if it isnt.
    I just it just looks exactly like it.

    Maby my skin doesnt look as good as that one but at least I didnt rip mine and called it a 5min work.
    I made mine from scratch.

    1) Yes i used Bots his scratches, as i did not find my own PR ATM.
    2) I was never planning to use that skin , why would i say i'm going to use Adope fotoshop?

    I have no mercy for thieves. Especially those that have such lack of dignity that they can post the work of others and call it their own with a straight face. Duo's claims are those of a liar trying to save face. I find it hard to believe that he now magically has some other pulse rifle skin he made that he misplaced somewhere and had to use mine. What a joke.

    Dragging this back on topic slightly, any chance of a .mdl file of this to work from? My milkshape expired, I don't have anything that'll convert 3ds to .mdl but I fancied having a go at this..

    Never tried a reskin from scratch before, just a few tweaks and recolours, could be a good bit of practice..
