    Yep, thats right. There's countless times I have wasted a lonely HA-GL dude with skulk... 58 res down the drain. PPL should learn to work as a team.

    I dunno, I think it's a pretty good suppressive weapon, we held off fades for a few hours with our little base in satcom, on ns_tanith. I think alot of people just to play it safe run like hell when they see or hear the little *plink* *plink* of a grenade near them, I know I usually do, cause it's not worth getting wasted cause you just "might" make it by those few nades.

    My 2 cents,

    The clip size should be 5-6. Atleast enough to clear the biggest WOL before having to reload.
    Which brings me to the second point, it's too slow at reloading and WAY to slow at reloading from the armoury. Since I'm on that subject, the what's with the shotty taking so long to load?!?!??! Today's shotguns can be loaded faster than that.

    As for people running away from a grenade, it's true. You can see it bounce, stop and explode 2-3 sec later. Gives you enough time to get out and not get harmed. I'll second the notion of having a shorter fuse.

    One time I was a HA in a vent with a GL and a skulk was charging at me, you have to aim directly at the alien and it will explode on contact, better to take a small amount of explosion damage than get eaten to death.

    I far from feel that the grenade launcher is useless in any way. Not only does a nice cleanup job of structures, but like said earlier keeps the aliens at bay. Nonetheless, when you are dealing with aliens that have 2 hives, it can be your best friend. Keeping lerks off a squad of marines. I find the good old, hit and run Grenade Laucher, Jetpack Marine still effective.

    On a side note, the M79 grenade launcher (Used by the Americans in the Vietnam War) has won't explode until 3 seconds have past, after the 3 seconds pass it can hit off anything and explode. If it is before the 3 seconds are up then it can hit a wall and becomes a dud.
