    Well anyways... seems you actually cant set more than 3 mouse buttons <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> least not with my OS/HL config.

    ATM I have setup my 4th mouse button as my third

    so... I can use left, right, thumb, and scrollwheel

    I guess it'll have to do

    Thx for the help and suggestions guys <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Do that, cos he seems very lamish <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I use Win 200 Pro, it works like a charm, now before everyone starts shouting their personal favorite operating system blablabla, XP annoys me to the max, and 2000 pro works just fine for me... so dont even think bout starting on that... <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    ah well, it works anyways, still... if I can get info on how to manipulate it so i can still use it in Win with Opera (dont even start <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> it works fine for me) and in the game simultaneously without having to switch functions every time, that'd be great

    <!--QuoteBegin--ThinG+Apr 15 2003, 02:25 PM--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (ThinG @ Apr 15 2003, 02:25 PM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> I have tried setting thumb in Win to "doubleclick" but then when I hit thumb ingame it just shoots the gun I'm holding...
    I tried setting it to "F8" in Win, then it doesnt respond in game just like when I set it to "back"
    now there are about 30 options in that list, and I can't say that I feel like trying to find one that might work <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    I had a similar problem with my optical logitech mouse (christmas version <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->). In my case it was my middle button that I had in logitechs program set to copy or paste, I was trying to get somehting that felt like linux. Anyway, I couldn't get it to work untill I set to perform no speciall function. I'm sorry that I can't remember right now what alternativ that was. I'll try to check when I get home if my memory doesn't fail me <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
    But it should be the alternativ that sets the button to "neutral". There is an other choice that will shut the button of instead that sounds allmost right but at least you only have 2 alternatives to test instead of 30 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I do believe it is the logitech drivers (or lack of logitech drivers) which cause conflicts with Half-Life. The Thumb button on my Logitech iFeel Mouseman is argumentative about working sometimes. I have also lost the iFeel drivers, booo. D:

    hmm interesting

    (hey Fam, can't you simply DL them?)

    but yah, thats what I was trying to get out (not very well) that you want windows to recognize it simply as a mouse button (not left right or center probably but you should be able to tell it just to be 'mouse4' or something like that)

    If yuo can get windows t do that you should have no prob (I personaly have never actualy poked around with a mouse with mroe than 3 buttons soooo can't do much there <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    but yah, try and get latest and greatest drivers for yor mouse, who know might help (I am starting to get slightly lost on this <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
