<div class="IPBDescription">Lets try again</div> Ok after a 50 post debate we have come down to marines will be our next victim for a conversion.
We are going to hopefull get a team assembled and make a Protoss total marine conversion

So first of all i need some voluteers willing to do it now i am good at giving colour to black and white textured models and stuff and i will attemp some texturing and i will supply all ref pics so and i think Delarosa said he will help me in this.Well here is a list of people i need to help me

1)Animator (to animate the new protoss people and weapons)

2)A modeler( a one that doesnt rely on polys for detail and one able to do a good psi blade)

3)A skinner (just to give me some back up)

4)and maybe another modeler coz this is going to be big i will post some ref pics below

    I just started modeling, I might be able to make some weapons and buildings, not characters though.

    A Dragoon-ish thing could be a Resource tower.. heh

    Use 3ds Max if you have it. If not, use Milkshape.

    Jamil asked in the other post as to what they could use as an acid rocket...well i found a model from when i played Sven Coop and HLDM that i replaced my rpgrocket with...and i feel it would fit GREAT with this...it was from an AVP rocket launcher set made for you guessed it...hldm and svencoop and was amazing, i dont have the readme anymore so im not giving this model out...ill find it and post credits when i can..just remember the colors stay perfectly the same no matter which way your looking at the model

    everytime this topic sinks to the bottem cause hardly anyone likes it. He makes a new damn topic. the amount of work it would take to model a zeolot make custom animation wepons v models. thats alot of time. XeXe if you want to do it then more power to you. Milkshape can be found in the modeling 101 thread at teh top.

    Here's a suggestion for the Psi blade. Instead of modeling it, try making it a sprite (or a particle if you can) so it can be transparent/flicker/glow/ etc...

    good idea we need it to be as trans parent as possible so it gives that feeling like it is a real psi blade so if u guys could put a reply saying count me on or something so i can write ur anems down adn plz put what ur good at

    ok now i have had a thought for the lmg we should make a plasma rifle just like the one from halo...

    Now i will supply a quick concept drawing of one just so u get the basic outline and i willt ry and start to model the psi blade but it will be my first go

    I think that using the original ideas may be unsuitable, maybe people can design Protoss-like structures which can be used. This is because the actual Protoss buildings are huge, whereas NS structures are in a building themselves.

    Does it really have to be just like in SC ?
    I think forge would be the most suitable structure for TF.

    But those structures are never going to be converted in NS, so i think this is pointless <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
