Human Flesh

Red or White...???
Is human flesh red or white.... I've wanted a definte answer on this for years now... and no one ever knows... What I suspect is that it is white, because we have more in common with a pig than we do a cow... and, talking to my dad, who used to be a firefighter, he said when human cooks, it smells like pork. Now my question is:
Is human red or white meat?
... and please no posts saying how stupid this post is... I'm serious, i want to know.

Thats our skin colour,
oh and what about people of a different race?
We incinerate pigs when the die of causes before their time, the mixture of hair, deisel fuel, and charred flesh is a very bad smell, sometimes a gagging smell.
I say parts are white and parts are dark (what a morbid discussion )

How is it racism? If you consider that being racist then you must live a very shielded life my friend.
Is this some sort of taboo, the true identity of the colour of our meat? I mean is it really too much to know.

Dude are you blind? I have said more than once now that it is white. Why do you think the quote "The other white meat" came about?
white meat are 'low stamina, high performance'-muscles so to speak (can't keep it active continuously, but is fast), like arm muscles for example.
red meat are 'high stamina, low performance''-muscles (muscles that serve the purpose of posture and are slow), like the deep back muscles you have alongside your spine (not the latissimus dorsi though).
red muscles fibres have more myoglobin (the oxygen-binding protein of the muscles) because they draw their energy mostly from aerobic metabolism and have more mitochondira and capillaries, which is why the look red, while white muscle fibres draw their energy mostly from anaerobic metabolism.
at least that's how I learned it at uni, don't know whether the vernacular use of 'red and white meat' is a different one.

"The other white meat" refers to pork, saying its the other white meat other than chicekn or fish
I'm pretty sure about that.
Your average couch potato is probably very similar to a pig in terms of the quality of muscle mass, whereas a professional athlete is probably more similar to a cow.

you can say that people are red meat because of horror movies, but keep in mind the terms red meat and white meat refer to post-cooked colors. uncooked chicken is pink, uncooked pork is pink, but both turn white and then brown. hence, WHITE MEAT. but cow is red then turns reddish brown, so it is RED MEAT. the reason no knoe knows is because even if doctors see uncooked flesh all the time it is rarely seen fried properly. burn victims char and whatnot, i mean cooked properly like hannibal style.
im gonna go with NeedDirections bi-color theory because it sounds the msot supported, and DuBERS 90% white theory.
