No offense but Cforrester and Liku your both under 18 and probably still live with your parents. From reading Legionnare post hes gone threw some really hard times (Alcholism)
If you need somebody to talk to try your family. Your parents (if you still have them) will love you unconditionaly (unless they are abusive). Even if they don't act like it.
You say your 19. Could it just be a lack of direction? Is the school you are at an out of state school? I am a shy person. I sometimes feel the same way. Till I was sure about my major I was sorta like "What will I be doing tommarow?" It might be that your finally on your own. So your sorta like "what now?" That was/is me soo I dunno
I wouldn't go the way of antidepresents or drugs. Those are for exscaping reality. You go to college to concour it and transform it into something useful.
Let me remind you that its Christians that are turning you off to God, not what Christianity is. Read Legionnaired post, it goes beyond just being hypocrites, alot of Christians make Christianity seem more different then what it is.

I personally believe that saying it was God's decision to let someone die is just misplacing blame. God allows everyone free choice, if someone decides to drink, then get in a car and kill some poor kid who's walking on the sidewalk, I'm afraid that wasn't God's choice. It was someone elses whose decision hurt more people than just themself.

On a more on-topic note, the best thing you can do is talk to people. Explain all your problems. Get it off your chest. There are some really good listeners, and advice-givers.
Forrester, don't take it personally. I'm mature for my age too, but I still have trouble putting things in perspective sometimes, most youth do. That's why so many young kids end up commiting suicide over their girlfriends, because they feel the pain is the worst pain they could ever feel, and it doesn't go away no matter what they do.
Not a lot of people end up realizing that the sun will rise the next day, and that tomorrow will be exactly as they make of it.
RPG, I'm glad you've started feeling better, but really, after hearing about whats eating you on AIM, and after realizing just how badly you feel about it, maybe you should talk to someone about it. Your choice, but I think it'd help you.
Point of interest: Talking about suicide openly actually reduces the rate of suicide, AFAIK. It wont be putting ideas in their heads, chances are if the depression is serious enough it's crossed their minds before. Talking about it, and allowing the thourbled individual to see the reasons for their pain jump-start the healing process, thus allowing them to start enjoying life again after gaining perspective on the issue.

I'll just have to get better on my own.
.edit. wait a second... this isnt what we were talking about.

Don't draw it out.
But yeah, be with your loved one RPG_Jssmfulhud.
So, thank you for your help. I needed that.

Anyway, as I said, I am feeling better today... So it probably won't even come to talking...

As for talking to somebody, no. I'll take it myself now. If I don't destroy the pain, then I don't even deserve to live.
