Ea Games Don't Work On My System.

I don't know why...
Ok, I have MOH:AA and BF1942. Both games are by EA. After I got bored of them and unistalled them. My friend recently rented MOH:FL for GCN, and while he played that I was like "Hey, let me play MOH:AA" after the installation I ran it and that Scan came up and everything was normal, it ran like usual but after that, my computer turned the color of my Scheme (It was Green), and it just locked up, I couldn't do anything. Then my friend let me borrow American McGee's Alice, also by EA. Same BS happened. I requested help 5 Months ago, but I got nothing. So I'm going to ask the Gamer's if they've gotten this problem and got by it. Help? Thanks in Advance.

EA = They care about one thing only, money.
In other words make sure your game is DONE when you release it.

Although, I'm sorry that you're having problems and it doesn't work, but to tell you the truth, almost everyone is having problems with alot of their products.
despite the majority opinion here, EA does put out some good games. The un-believers don't like EA cuz they don't EXACTLy what they want and...I'd like to see them do better
also, it might be you have a new .dll somehwere that doesn't match.
start>run>dxdiag
then check what version it is. the latest is direct X is 9 i think. If its not, update it. mine was originally 8, but then when my games were fux0rd, checked dxdiag and found it was at 4!! i updated it to 9 and all my games work.
Also, do u have OpenGL? most good EA games require that
GeForce4 64MB
256 MB RAM
What else should I list? (Rarely lists specs)
Open up Dxdiag then go to sound and switch the hardware acceleration to basic and then exit and try it.
DX9 may fix it aswell.....but this should save you the download.
MOHAA was fun for a while, good thing I borrowed it, but there's not much left after you beat it. The only part that I actually really enjoyed was the little cutscene part on D-Day.
Not to mention, how many "The Sims" expansions have been released ? And how much do they cost ?
Like $40, for what ? You're character can be a whor.e now! *twirls finger in the air*

Ok, I did that. Now none of my HL Games will run... it says I need Direct X 6 or Higher.
And what version of DX have you got?
In there got to multimedia(I think) then check if the prefered playback device is your soundcard.

1. NS doesn't cost anything
2. It's far from anyone claiming it's complete
3. EA pumps out so many crappy games it's not even funny, they just throw crap at the wall and whatever sticks they patch and give attention to.
This is very, very, very true. I can hardly express how true this is.
Liku, I'm guessing you have tried going to the FAQ's on MOH:AA, you might want to try their forums, if any, I'm sure you could get a good answer.
But thats just me

1: Granted
2: Version 1.0 was the "complete" first game, just like BF1942 1.0 was the "complete" first game.
3: Actually, they own developers. If there's a problem with a game, blame the developer. NOT the publisher. EA publishes games, then adjusts funding accordingly due to success rates.
Then there is Black & White. Everyone I knew near enough got it and 90% of them all had PC trouble afterwards.
BF1942 again wont run smoothly on my PC again almost twice the recomended.
I bought SimCity 4 when it came out, and on the back it promised multiplayer mode. That patch still isnt out almost 4/5 months later.
EA reaches the bottom of my favourite publisher/dev list and Sierra comes out top, constint patching, excellent tech support, lack of bugs that make game unplayable.

Yes but EA will only give funding to what projects they want to give funding to, and they arent given a huge amount of time.
i have been let down soo many times by EA.... and they are a pro games company... os they are supposed to be .. and they churn out half finished material just to get you the consumers money.
it isnt on.
Liku i dont know what your problem is, maybe your proccessor speed?
