    BigDXLT - Those are the new ns2.wad texes aren't they? you got that up pretty quick. looks good tho. A bit plain, but not too shabby either way. I like the lightinging, though it could use a dark spot to the right of where you stood for the pic.

    This is old, from when I was first testing out the first version of ns2.wad... This is from before the angled supports on that wall texture even lined up nicely on the grid. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> (they fit perfectly now.) Dunno if it'll see light of day or not. If I keep it, this is the new ns_aelin, formerly ns_kara.

    The problems with that map are 1) it has no lights yet and 2) it sucks. I haven't made anything remotely decent in months, sadly. :-\

    KFS, that first shot is excellent, it really gives an "NS" feel. There are a few areas that would be good for improvement, specifically that door at the end; I think it would look better with a frame around it.

    I've been waiting a long time to post some shots of this map (NS_Gammu), now ns2.wad is out I can.
    This map uses an unusual red/black and gold theme, I hope that doesn't look too out of place.
    Might need to crank up the brightness a bit :/

    Yes, I just took one corner of my map and retextured it. Just kind of playing around with the new textures to get a feel how they go together. I like it much better than the old textures I had in that section, so I am definately going to retexture the whole thing. I don't have much of any detail in my map so far because I want to be able to make major changes easily. I just got my map submitted, and have no idea how it plays (I'm thinking it might be to big.) Directly to the right of that screen shot is a hallway. (Which I'd show, but it's a big mixture of the new ns2.wad right now! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->)

    The more I look at the work of some of these other guys, the more I look at my stuff and go "meh". But I'll keep on plugging away anyway.

    I was sorta gonna take a break after co_hyper was finished, but now... it's not fair! The textures are so good i had to show my parents! Even my MOTHER liked the textures! Hats of to Cory and Merkaba for even making someone who DOES NOT like metalic things like a metalic looking thing. ^_^

    heres a lil play about with the ns2 wads textures, nothing special really, i just tried a contrast of red and blue lighting but i dont think it came out too well. if you want it its in the sp ns topic.

    Cool Cool cookies, I like that. Its a simple, yet nice looking place. The single blue light really makes it stand it out, and thats not a bad thing at all =)
