<div class="IPBDescription">Bigger, Better</div> Ok, this one can be like my other fic i started, but this time, lets go aliens Viewpoint.

Feeding time
The lone skulk ran down the corridor. It had a mission given to it by the hive mind. It was to check out a new food source. The hive detected something, it didnt know what, but something and it wanted to know for it felt danger. The skulk ran into a room that used to be some sort of sleeping quarters, or it used to be before the battle for the station ended. The last time the animals tried to take their home away, they beat them back and they ran with their tails between thier legs.
The skulk jumped onto one of the decrepid matresses and climbed into a vent, this was the way the hive directed him. As he ran through the vent he used his silence evolution to make sure he made no noise. Finally he came to a small room, and he saw a single creature. It was pressing its paw against something shiny, and the skulk had the sudden urge to eat it, but the hive told it to just parasite so other could help. But the urge was strong, and the skulk parasited, then jumped out and bite the creature. He killed the creature and the shiny thingy, but the hive was furious. He had disobeyed it and the hive didnt like being disobeyed. He ran back into the vent, his claws still dripping with blood. The hive was calling him back, and he obeyed this time for he did not want to upset the hive any more.
The hive directed the Gorge to build another hive, as a last ditch effort, the creatures had killed the other 2 before they were wiped out, and now it seemed they wanted more, so they needed "larger guns" so to speak. As the gorge built the second hive, the disobedient skulk came around the corner. The hive watched as the skulk paced nervously. Finally the hive sent the command to become a lerk whenever it reached enough lifeforce. And the hive could visibly see the shock in the skulk as its eyes opened and it stopped pacing. The hive chuckled and sent the skulk on its way. For the hive had other things to take care of.

good work, next time make it longer.
And yeah, the hive can chuckle, since im making the hive a sentient mind. It knows all in its domain, and i guess it needs some form of communication besides thought......right? i mean it cries in pain when you shoot it, so why not chuckle when amused.... heh anyways, write.
do you have a timetable for when more work is to be completed?
Anyways, ill write much more to keep you occupied, then when i get back ill look at comments, suggestions, flames, and then write more

The hive mind searched for its strongest underling. It found the skulk it has so thouroghlyconfused earlier by telling it to go lerk when it had disobeyed orders, and the hiv saw that the skulk had enough res to go lerk. The hive was confused and wondering why it didnt go lerk. It sent its mental calling to the skulk and summoned it to its core.
The skulk was waiting for anything to happen, sitting on a crate waiting for something to appear, When he go the message from the hive to come to the core. Skulks dont usually show emotion but this skulk shuddered violently as it realized it might be killed for disobedience. But, it went anyways for he knew the hive could trigger large amounts of pheromones into his general area and leave him chocking on his own Lifeforce. So he went to the core. Around a few corners he came to a vent and ran into it knowing that this was teh only way to the core. As he entered the vent he saw one of those creatures sitting in the vent looking the other way. Now the skulk having the silence evolution saw an oppurtunity and rushed at the creature. As soon as the skulk hit teh creature it disolved and the skulk stumbled past the spot. He turned around and stood very confused. It could not peice the dissapearing of the creature together. And he stood there Perplexed and thouroghly confused.
The hive saw the skulk leap at this creature and the hive also saw the skulk go straight through the creature. Now ordinarilly the hive would not look at a single skulk for so long, but this time it focused onthis one, for it seemed to be drawing a lotof attention. The hive called once again to the skulk and it started moving toward its core. When the skulk finally reached the core, the hive was still thinking about teh creature it had just encountered.
The skulk ran up to teh core, wich looked like a giant berry, only covered in green mossy stuff, and moving around and oozing. The hive spoke to him and told him to find out what made these creatures dissapear like that. And the skulk was a little startled for the hive had never spoken to any other skulk that he knew of. And what disturbed him even more was the fact that no moving parts were visible when the hive talked to him. But, the skulk obeyed not wanting to anger the hive any further. But as soon as it left the core it got teh mental message that defensive evolutions could now be gained. And the skulk decided that haveing a thicker hide would be usefull, so it decided to evolve once again. It concentrated and after a few minuts a thick gooey shell type thing formed over it, and it began to evolve. Its skin got harder, and its claws got sharper. Its developed a small underlying bonestructure used to protect major organs, and soon he felt ready to fight and burst out of this shell. It ran out of the vent and turned the corner and ran straight into another creature, only this tiem, it spat pain at him, and he ran the other way so that he could ambush this creature. He heard a distinctive thwump, thwump, thwump. Then he saw the little balls of pain bounce around the corner, and he feared for his life, and started to run, but not quite far enough as his back half was shredded by the balls of pain. The hive sent forth some conrades of his to destroy the creature with the pain and saved the skulk. Slowly he regenerated his limbs back as he stood near a healing chamber. Finally he decided to get revenge on the creatures, and took off.

The skulk had decided it wanted extreme revenge on these creatures. So it asked the hive is it may have permission to turn into a stronger creature. The hive agreed and teh skulk ran back to its core. Once inside the core, the skulk ran up to the top to a tiny ledge where it sat and waited. After about 10 minutes of so, it started making a cocoon type thing, only it wasnt made of silk, it was more made of hardened skin. And here the skulk sat slowly developing its new form. Over the course of 3 hours, this single lone skulk formed wings, much larger teeth, and spikes on the sides of its head. It also formed a small poison sack with very powerful muscled on each side of it in the back of its throat. After it finally got all its evolutions, the new skulk burst out of its egg and found itself unable to fly just yet, for it had not yet strengthened its wings. Its flapped them a bit and practiced hovering. And it just kind of jumped off the ledge and flew past the hive core.
The hive saw the skulk change into a lerk, and it pleased him that they were evolving already. The hive told the lerk to go scout since it was now the fastest creature in their home. The lerk Flew around for a bit before goin back to teh spot where he lost half of his skulk form. He flew over to the corner, and peeked around it, and saw a single creature again standing like nothing was goin on. The lerk was so happy, he ran up and bit the thing on the butt, But it jsut kind of fizzled and dissapeared. Then jsut as the lerk bit the creature that dissappeared, another creature and spat tremendous amounts of pain at him. He jerked this way and that, and finally, could not move any more and just layed down and died. In his last dying breath, the lerk spat its poison sack at the creature and chuckled as it also choked to death and died right next to him. Then all his memories, thoughts, and lifeforce were transffered to the brand new pup that had just popped out of the birth chamber. This new pup had all the previous creatures memories, and thoughts, and knew how to combat these things better than before. Plus it could more accurately evolve for its forms. The new pup ran out and started looking for creatures it could now tell were evil and liked to spit pain at him and his friends. It ran around a corner and ran right into the metal nose of a long distance pain shooter. The hive got so scared that every hive controlled creature ran to destroy the thing, for the hive knew the thing could end its life. And the hive watched as all his minions ate the thing, but ti also saw as the thing fired at his core and a tremendous wave of pain came over him, and he blakced out.

When the hive awoke, it could sense the worry and wonder from all its minions. The hive searched for more of the sticks of death that had pained it so. It found it could sense none of them anymore. It looked for the spot where the stick of death had hit him, and it saw a large round area of itself was gone. No blood, or matter to be found, and it wondered what type of weapon these creatures possesed that could reach out, and grab a chunk of him, and take it somewhere else. The hive was furious. It ordered some of the builders to build health protrusions near him so he could heal his missing section and the information oit possesed. He could not remember what has caused these creatures to come and attack them , but he was sure it was in his missing section.
The newest skulk to come from the birth sac, had now gained its hardened skin evolution. It decided it did not want to be silent, since that would be a waste, it did not intend on letting the enemy live long enough to find where he was coming from. By now they had two birth sacs as the builders were working diligently. So the skulk decided to become the second most deadly evolution. He found a nice safe place to sit, and formed his cocoon. Over the time period, his front legs formed much larger claws on them, and they curved slightly over forward. His front legs also extended a few feet. His head slowly moved forward so he could stand bipedal like the creatures. On his shoulder grew a lump of skin that hardened. Inside the lump of skin grew an acid gland that produced acid. On either side of the gland grew very powerfull muscles to propell the acid as far as it would go. Finally, his rear legs grew much longer, and the joints reversed. Finally when he burst forth from his cocoon, he stood about 6 feet tall. He towetred over builders and skulks alike. He let out a raspy growl and headed toward a small grouping of organs the builders had set up to collect more lifeforce from the supply below their home. There he stood guard while the organs developed and grew, until finally, two appendages shot forth from both so they could now support themselves. After this was done, the builders returned and build some healing organs and some spikey organs. So, he headed out to wander until the hive bidded him to do something for it.
The hive was alerted by the microbiomes that one of its minions had become a fade. The hive searched out this minion, and saw it was the skulk that had the mind and experiences of the very special skulk from before. The hive was pleased and sent the new fade an order to search and destroy the creatures that had injured it so. It started to give the fade directions, but suddenly it could not remember where they were. A loud, deep menacing roar was heard over the whole outpost as the hive realized that was the part the creatures had blown out of it. They had taken the part of him that knew where they were at. Their nano system kept his microbiomes from searching and telling him where they were. Always on the molecular level, was there a war beteween the biomes and the nanites. And for now they were even. And then the hive got a new respect for the creatures. They were not just wild animals running around killing things. They knew what and how to destroy things so that they will prevail. Now the hive changed its thinking so it may outsmart these creatures. It redirected the fade to go to the original spot where it first relized the creatures were back. The spot where teh first skulk, its "father" had gotten its first kill.
The fade got its directions and set out to do so. In order to do so it had to go through a vent, and that was very uncomfortable for the fade. It had to squat, and make itself small, wich was not something a fade wished to do everyday. Somehow it fit through the vent to a small room with one of the nozzles that spat life force. It crawled out of the vent and stretched and wished to never do that again. It found the room to be quite small. It was about 3 skulk lengths all around. The fade got angry, for its own acid would hurt it in here if it had to spit it, but at the same time, its claws were so very effective. The hive directed it to the door of the room. And the fade clawed its way out of the room. And right into the heart of a creature forward base. The fade stood dazed for a second, then started hacking away. It clawed straight through a spitter of pain, that had no time to turn towards it. Then the other spitters turned and shot their pain at him. He roared and sliced two of them clean off thier legs. The last one was up on a ledge and he spat his acid at it. The shoulder lump opened for a second as the acid cleared it, projected by the powerful muscled beneath. The acid exploded upon the spitter, and instantly ate the legs and head of the thing. It was still shooting pain as it melted, but not at him as it could no longer turn. He then turned to a small structure that was moving around a bit. It had two arms on both sides that were moving back and forth. He admired it for a few seconds, then sliced it in half. He heard a strange sound come from the spitter that was melting, and it stopped spitting pain altogether. he walked over to a glowing thing. It had little bugs of light coming off of it. It sat there gazing at the light when suddenly it flashed very bright and a creature stood before him.
"Oh my god, its a blinker commander. Phase me out now sir now!" The fade stared for a second wondering what this new sound from the creature was, then it cut it across the chest. The creature started to fall when a bright light again enveloped the room and the creature was gone. The fade had enough of the lgihts, for its eyes were hurting, and it cut the thing to shredds. It left the rest intact for the hive wanted to examine these things to figure out how they wokred if it could, and if they could be incorporated to work for the kharra race. With that a new type of kharra specifically made for probing the creatures and thier machines came forth from the shadows. They were like small mice with many many feelers. They swarmed the machines and covered them with a weird gooey substance. The fade got a little on its toes and it got stuck to the floor. One of the mice came to its growl and snarl and removed the substance from its toe. The fade then went to find something to eat for it had yet to eat while being born.
-Many days later-
The newest birth sac was just going up when the creatures again attacked them. The creatures were getting bold with their newest shooters of pain. They spat pain faster and alot harder. And also there was a new breed of creature that could fly. There were multiple lerks to oppose these new creatures but they were beginnning to push back. The hive directed a single builder to drop a organ and nuture it to be a tranport organ. Now that there were gonna be three sacs, they needed ways to get to them faster. The hive found its little base of nugins. They were still crawling over the creatures machines. One of the machines created spitters of pain. The nugins were starting to get the hang of making the spitters spit their pain at the creatures. More than once had a spitter of pain killed a nugin, but they didnt care. Their adaptes biomes were probing deeper and deeper into the machines and finding how they worked. Soon, very soon, the kharra would enter the spitters of pain into thier own service. Wont the creatures be suprised when they walk into a room, and think its safe because there spitters are there, and then they sit comfortably thinking its safe, and blammo, their own spitters spit at them. The hive chuckled loudly for it was pleased with the progress that was being acheived. Now the creatures would have a very hard time fo pushing the kharra out of thier home. And the hive took a small nap for it had been awake for many days. As it started to lose consiousness, it thought of what its father would think now that it had done so much to come along. His stupid father had sent him out of the hive colony, now he would show him, he would show him very dearly.

Hive conference
The grand master hive looked at all his minons over all his planets. He saw all his underlings working, killing the creatures and dying to thier weapons. He saw them create new birthsacsd, and he saw them be destroyed. The gradn master then came to his home planet, where he was having a meeting of all the hive minds. As he looked on at all these artificial faces, he thought of each of their acheivments. This strange organ that he didnt even fully understand, showed a face for each hive mind when it transferred its consious to the room. There were pudgy ones, skinny ones, and there were tall ones, short ones, But there were no sex's. The hive minds didnt bother with the fickle idea of sex, male, female. That lead to problems. Problems had an effect on efficiency. And problems in efficiency in the kharra were unheard of. The grand master thought of his child. His offspring. His own bud that had come from his gene pool. Then he felt remorse, for even though his child had shown tremendous inefficency, he still had a spot for it. It had tried to tell them what a great deal of improvement it would be to use attacks to find enemies positions. Sacrificing kharra beings in the attempt to find the creatures base of operations. All the hives scoffed at this idea for it was pure daft. But as the grandmaster watched his child fight off its attackers, he saw the great logic in his childs plans. He also smiled when he saw that the younger hive had taken the creatures own technology and used it against them.
A little later, all the hive minds were here that werent in a fight of sorts, and the meeting began. One could not understand what the hives were saying as they were speaking in mind and in their ancient language. A small gorge stood by the hives tending to thier needs as need be. The gorge saw many get angry, many chuckle. A couple showed sadness. Then he saw pure malice come from the grand master directed at one smaller hivemind in the corner as is spoke out. The hive mind shrank back after some feirce sounding words, then its face was absorbed back into the organ. The gorge looked on, never wondering what was being said because it didnt matter, it wasnt its job to know what they talked about, and frankly, it didnt care.
The grand master dismissed all the minds, and they all left. It had had some interesting strategies brought to its attention, and some pure stupid ones also. He had brought to the minds attention, his childs success. Then that very rude one in the corner had said it was pure popycock and it wouldnt last. And those copmments on his childs ablities were uncalled for. Nevertheless, his son has a problem with the newest arrivals on the outpost it was living on. The grand master took a few minutes to think about this new predicament, and to calculate if it was efficient to send more beings to aid his child. The hive went into meditation to ponder these new events. As it went into meditation, he had the feeling his child would have a handfull of troubles in the near future, and he hoped it didnt get destroyed, for it rather liked the way this one thought.
Its just i hunt and peck at 82 WPM.....so.... i miss some spelling errors. And if i slow down i lose track of what i was thinking. So bleh to crappy typing.
