That way, if you're a crack shot at short range, or have the long range advantage and time to aim, you can kill a skulk in a single clip. Or, if you have two players, you can take down a skulk in about the same time as a single player does now. Besides. half the times the marine players cant aim. Also Thats what the point of getting carapace upgrades are for. Also a skulk can quickly close the distance gap and turn the ranged gun battle into a melee battle and quickly own the marines.
