<div class="IPBDescription">Am i demented?</div> Is it just me or do all of you chuckle when you're skulking? Happens a lot when you successfully tag them and lure them (with regen) until they run out of bullets and you bite their heads off? Sometimes I just burst out laughing....or maybe I'm a little demented.

Oh by the way, I need some tips as to how I could skulk better. There are so many times when I started munching away that I'm completely lost as to where the marine is, hence random munching. What do you guys do? Run around to check the marine's position? Or is random munching the best strategy there is? <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'>

one chuckle=ok. Chuckle spamming=bad. I think they hardcoded it out. I prefer to not chuckle so when Mr. Marine brings 3 friends along to "deal" with you they still have to guess where you are.

But I'm also a better tagger than a killer, so meh.

You know, sometimes, when clearing some mines...

Skulk heroically throws himself into some mines, all the while chuckling. Erm, that's me ^^

I especially like to chuckle at the spot where I just killed some hapless marine, knowing he'll still hear it.

Some insanely chuckling Skulk leaping into your face, yeah, love doing it.

To me, Skulks are killing machines, ready to give their life for the kill. They got to be insane, they bounce, flip and jump, chuckle, bite and kill. Sorta like a massmurdering Clown on four legs and lots of caffeine. That's what I play the Skulk like. Sometimes I sneak, hang above the door, waiting for the marine. And when he comes I savour the moment, dropping after him, following him a bit and just before attacking i'll chuckle ... once.

Death comes with a smile and a chuckle.

Yeah, when I'm playing the Skulk I am demented. I guess I find some RPG in NS as well ^^

Don't bite unless you're going to hit something. It only takes two bites to kill an unupgraded marine, and that number increases by one per level of armour upgrade. That's *not* a lot of bites. Holding down the bite will just obscure your vision, and won't kill the marine any quicker. Dodge, move in, bite, dodge, bite. Dead marine.

Accually lvl 2 armor dosen't add another bite. only lvl 1 and lvl 3 do.

Parasite kills, that's what all the cool skulks are doing these days...

Oh, and chuckling is a great way to lure out marines. Parasite, duck back around the corner, chuckle. Repeat as necessary until the marine runs after you. Then kill.
With webs nearby it's even more fun.
Chuckle spamming, though, where someone just holds down their stupid bind key so it loops the first 0.1 seconds of the sound 300 times? Not fun.

Chuckle is your friend. A hidden/cloaked skulk can have a lot of fun with chuckle and can hold up any marines in the area. Stupid jar heads run around looking for you when your hidden or cloaked and you can just chuckle manically. They're too stupid to just walk away either.

Chuckles scare people. Especially when yhou're in a vent. Of course, they'll check up the vent... but if you're smart you won't poke your head through. Wait for them to pass through without making a sound... then BOOM jump on their heads.

Chuckling in itself is an AMAZING stradgey, watch how many people will actually leave their base on caged if you just sit in the vent and chuckle, those that do will usually head out to sewer to just try to get you, where you can have one or two friends waiting in ambush <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

alright heres my tip, usually marines like to bhop and jump over you, so i counter it by also bhopping, listening for where thier spraying at me, go in that direction . (also i always hold down my bite attack in situations liek those becuase u can always get a lucky bite in if you cant find them)

Chuckle spamming is psychological warfare at its best.

I've driven many a marine insane on hera by just sitting in cargo by the weldable door and chuckling nonstop. It's a very good location to be on standby as well -- if the marines move toward maintenance, I'm there in 2 sec, if they move to reception, I'm there in 5.

The thing with chuckle spamming is that it lets headphone users know pretty much exactly where you are. If there's some mildly good marines on the other team, I try not to chuckle too much if I'm alone and think I can't handle whatever is coming our way. But if it's me vs a lone marine on a team made up of newbs, then yeah I chuckle just to make them paranoid.

I almost always chuckle spam on siege005 or siege006 before the door opens. It's so funny. Chuckle/taunt wars are great. It usually distracts most of te dumb marines, forceing them to tech and build slower. Then, we win.

If I'm hiding up in the ceiling, and am about to drop down on a marine's head and chomp it off, I chuckle right before I fall. I chuckle right after I bite someone to death, to rub it in.

I chuckle if I think it will distract the poor 'rines.

I chuckle at random times while running around the level or waiting in ambush. I can't help myself. It was just really funny!
Or I have to LOL at my self, like on Bast being an Onos and getting stuck in the ladder that leaders to Tram tunnle in Feed water and getting knifed to death.
