The real problem are small games, not big games. Big games can be avoided simply by setting lower maximum number of players. But you can hardly avoid small games. In small games, gorge's income is much higher relatively to marine income. If you compare 8vs8 and 4vs4 game, marines get half the resources in 4vs4. Aliens get half the resources as a team too, but much bigger portion of it goes to the gorge which can actually use it. In 8vs8, gorge gets 3/10 of all alien res. In 4vs4, gorge gets 1/2 of all alien res. This means that early gorge's income is not hurt much by lower number of players but marine income is hurt severely.
there a simple ways to avoid this a) get a good gorge who can build fast and move around and know the map whihc is not hard if u know good servers
now about about the weopons being stronger this is true but aleins can beat a marine if they jump around alot cos then it harder for the marines to get a good shot
also if aleins DO just keep rushing they can slow marines down a bit also if aleins get a few fades n 2 onos u got a good chance
Enough with all the "arguments". Everyone knows that 1.0x favors marines in larger games. It's not a matter of it being *possible* to win, it's a matter of it being exponentially harder.

Anyways: I truely think that alot of you who are posting "Its one sided.." are only playing on one or two different servers, you should move around and check out some of the different servers with different plugins, different people and you might come across a few servers with SKILLED, ORGANIZED teams. The servers I play on, its always a 50/50 chance, for either team, I have played on alot of maps where the Aliens get owned, but I have seen come backs when everyone was sure it was "Game over man, Game Over!"
Besides, anyone who bothers to read the Beta Forums of the Fort line Stuff, knows that 2.0 is a totally different game! and its only 16 days away
