My Official Review of TS 2.0:

96%
Advantages: Beautiful Graphics(puts all other mods, and many NEW games to shame on the models), fast gameplay, pure deathmatch AND team-oriented play, FULL selection of weapons(30 total), a gameplay stick that forces you to find your style among all the weapons(aka, you'll either be REALLY good, or REALLY bad with the m4, but no matter what, there is at least 1 weapon you'll be great with), and last but not least, equality among all weapons, providing the best fragging grounds I can find.

Disadvantages: Tends to be pretty nub filled with idiots from CS, and some clans are those of idiots who came from CS who think 4 kills in a row is hacking(when in this game, if your good enough, its easy to get 10 kills before dying), and frequent lag on almost all servers.

Worth-it-o-meter: GET THIS TO HOLD YOU OVER TILL NS 2.0, AND WHEN YOUR JUST DYING FOR PURE ACTION, PLAY THIS!!!

Its probably no more client side than a standard half-life mod, its just that they are italian and sometimes have trouble w/ english (I was friends w/ one of the guys on the team for a bit)

I downloaded the game because the picture looked cool, and let me say, the game rocks! I just got done playing, ie getting pwned, and had a blast. Well I tried the old 1.0, and this one is much much better. Although really, I wish every server was just a kung fu only server ^_^

Now if only there was a 1on1 tourney mode...

my score 75%

weapon models are the best i have ever seen

sound is wonderful

the controls feel smooth, and you dont have to fight to get stunts down

the bots are great and easy to make (addbot in consol)

the only bad thing (that makes it get a 75%) is that every 5 minutes or so, a few servers that i have played on get cl_flushEntntyPackets (or whatever) and horrable lag for everyone that lasts for about 10-20 seconds

could have been just those severs having a problem, but i think it may be a netcode issue. When you run a bot server, you dont get it though

Actually, the other day, Me, Khaim, Pjofsky and like 6 other guys from #naturalselection all went onto a server with only 2 people, and to this second its got 16 people in it.

We made a difference in some server's life.

That was just the servers. At the time, they weren't very good, because almost all the servers were non-dedicated. We have PLENTY of dedicated now, and I'm happy to say, they are ALL stable.

The game is absolutely amazing. It has a wonderfull flow to it, the weapon selection is diverse and there is a weapon for every playstyle (my personal fav is sawed off/akimbo 5-7s), although the stun system can be a little confusing at times it isn't really necessary for everyone, and it just feels goo to play overall.

Everytime I run the .exe I get a CRC error about v_m4.mdl.
Anyone know what this is?

Probably a corrupted download. I think the website is www.thespecialists.com .

I love this game. I just love getting the pistols and doing walljumps and stuff. Everyone that I have gone up against has commented on how well I use it <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> Great game, lots of fun. I haven't tried all the levels yet but the lobby is a <b>vast</b> improvement.

I had an idea. I sent the TS2.exe over to my Laptop via
the USB cable. Ran the ,exe on the laptop... it installed fine.
So I then sent the newly created TS folder over to my Half-Life folder <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

well i am having trouble with the serevr..

i change the server.cfg etc.. but it always names it as the specialists 2.0 yada yada

all my people do is do a playersearch for the tag [halo]

or the name Woofie
i have been playing for over 9 hours today lol

myself and Mason from **** brits are planning to make a movie... ya know just for a laugh lol cos the bullet time is well cool...

but yeh IF the server is passworded it is mostly
