RRRAAAAR!!! This is my topic! I created it, shouldn't I be able to lead it off topic if I want? And also what is wrong with going off topic forums are for talking, so what is we deciede to change the topic? If we made a new forum topic for every topic we talk about there would be thousands of forum topics!
Yes, Longtooth, a new topic belongs in a new thread. And you're right, there <b>are</b> thousands of forum threads. 4284 to be exact <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
OK It's find to change the topic but not off the general topic wich would be Natural-Selection. You don't come in here talking about CS. You know why? because then we aren't helping the ns team or supporting them. That is what these forums are about. <!--emo&--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''><!--endemo-->
I think the starter of his topic should be able to control the destiny of his topic, and if it goes off topic instead of the admins just deleting our messages they could simply move it to the off topic section of the forums.
They seem to have plenty of time when it comes to editing our "off topic" comments, it would proly take less time to just move the topic then edit 5 off topic posts.
Or maybe you can do it the easy way for everyone and not post off topic things in the general forum?
Either that or the admins can just lock this thread and move on <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
