you havent truly experienced NS:Combat until you get into a 16v16 battle......oh.....my......god
Grenades where flying all over the place, hitting skulks, lerks, anything that happened to be in the way at the time, shotgunners desperately trying to defend the welders, getting the Command Console back to full health as hoards of oni come charging in at a time.
Unfortunately for you, no screenshot can do justice to the amount of carnage, fun and pure chaos, of a 16v16 battle. It must be seen moving to be truly appreciated.... <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

There is no automatic changing system. Combat is an alternate gamemode. it is not some minigame a server changes to until you have enough people for a sizeable game of regular NS. What about that text file that dictates the minimum/max amount of players for a map? co_maps are set at 0-14 or so and NS is set to 6-whatever. Did it get taken out or what.
Of course those can be changed by the server op, but I wouldn't know why the heck you wanna play 1v1 NS mode. And combat isn't really designed for large players, its just spam but if thats what you want you'll probably find servers for it. NS is better designed for large players. It was then that NsPlayer realised that HL-Hulahoop was a different game entirely.

I like too see all the skulk parasite and pwn Wither
Flayra - "Okay, I want Wither to join marines, and everyone else go aliens."
Wither - "!"
Then, as soon as the game started, we proceeded to parasite kill Wither in less than a second. That was beautiful.
