What Do You Think Of Brazil?
When someone says "Brazil" what comes to your mind? How do you think Brazil is, and why? BTW, does anyone know where Brazil is, and what is its capital city?
I just wanted to know what other people around the world think about my country, cause I see lots of people having different ideas about this country.

Rain forests.
(there are rain forests in Brazil, right?)
If you're talking about the country, mostly nuts. Maybe coffee as a close second, but that's about it.
And seriously, don't pay much attention to what you hear at school, that Brazil is a third world country and that we live in trees (heard someone say that before)
Brazil is quite an amazing and complex country. We have people starving, but we also have like the best hacker groups in the world and loads of people who have like, loads of cash
Cocaine?! Isn't that Columbia?
so drug dealers AND hackers. Awesome!.. *wanders off humming "You can do it" by ice cube*
Come on guys, seriously, is that all of your ideas of Brazil? Like, drugdealers, hackers and corruption? Doesn't think of a good side for Brazil?
Yes, Brazil isn't near France. But anything outside of America is "France" to me, at times.
coffee.
Ok so thats colombia. Who knows maybe they make coffeh in brazil
What springs to my mind is Football, (not soccer you stupid yanks) nutz, Pele, (greatest Footballer who ever lived) rainforrests, better weather than this country and coffee.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Ahahahahahaah thats Gold, pure gold.
If you read into it, what its really saying is that the Americans dont actually know what the current capital is... a very subtle jab at the stereotypical Americans geographical knowledge - ie NONE.
No yankees - Im not insulting you. If just pointing out what that statement is saying.
Plus, isnt it true Brazillia is shaped like a brd in flight when viewed from above? and they're no sidewalks?
A country trapped in (for the most) terrible poverty, but with no end of noble spirit.
Footballers who Pwn the world repeatedly... and who got their skills on the streets of the slums.
A history of african slavery that experts say far exceeds that of the US.
A history of bloody rebellion lead by escaped slaves, from the jungle Quilombos.
The government's destruction of all records pertaining to slavery so as to avoid paying compensation when it was abolished.
and of course... CAPOEIRA
And therefore, Shanty Towns (or Favelas in the native tongue).
Football too, natch.
