    Seriously though, nice work. It still feels as though the ironsights are off, but that's nothing I can't fix.

    Great work with the animations. I like the overarm draw anim, reminds me of a Sig552 I had for *cough*CS*cough* <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->

  • LukinLukin Join Date: 2003-08-23 Member: 20098Members
    beautiful...

    only complaint is the player model looks like the plays hold it with the tips of their fingers. But not much can be done to fix that!! <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Again, gorgeous model.

    Nothing wrong with hacking a model for <i>personal use</i>.

    The six billion $ question is... why doesn't the bolt move?! There's a massive bolt sticking out the front of the gun and it doesn't move when firing, hell it's not even cocked in the reload.

    Seems like a waste of space <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I wondered that, too.

    Also.. I dunno how to "hack for personal use" <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Really all I would like to do is enlarge the P_mdl a bit.

    I'm still trying to figure out milkshape

    yeah the p_ndl looks too small maybe enlarge it a bit and it would be perfect1 either way awesome skin/model

    That would be because your looking around in my personal webspace that I can put anything I want on. Its not my fault if, when I give you a link, you decide to check out the rest of my folder and find something that confuses you.

    That would be because on any decently made rifle, The bolt Doesnt move when you fire it! If you have a cheaply made rifle where the bolt and charging handle is one peice, well, then it will move, But, any rifle worth carrying uses a closed bolt system.

    If the P model is too small for your tastes, Just open it in HLMV and scale it a bit. takes 3 seconds

    can u remove some polygons from the p_ and w_ models, please?

    ... No, I wont be reducing the polygons. If your computer cant handle a 1000 polygon model, you shouldnt be running NS in the first place.

    And the sound was made by me as well. Its a boosted version of a gunshot I recorded some time ago, and mixed with the ringoff from random gunshot sound I found on my hard drive..
  • absenticabsentic Join Date: 2003-09-03 Member: 20517Banned
    My pc can handle 1000 polygons, but the less you have on the world models the better. Without sacrificing quality ofcourse. Well, i guess i'll have to remove those polygons myself...

    Aha, I see. Then why isn't it used in the reload then <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Well, whens the last time you pulled back the charging handle on a rifle that's already cocked? The only time you have to use the charging handle is when youre putting in the first magazine, because the Bolt is in the closed position and the bolt has to be retracted before a new round can be loaded. If youve been firing a rifle and the clip is emptied, the bolt is still in the cocked position and there for all you need to do is insert a new magazine.. Unless you wanna just **** around and **** it again for no reason and eject the loaded bullet.

    Then shouldn't it be included in the draw sequence? <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo-->
  • BrigadierWolfBrigadierWolf Join Date: 2003-05-30 Member: 16876Members, Contributor
    ..Mostly because The rifle isnt being loaded in the draw sequence.. Unless I animated a Magazine being inserted and forgot about it..

    To be realistic the gun needs the cocking handle but realistically it will never be used... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    How about you just have a version with it animated and then I stop annoying you <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Woah dude. I was just wondering what game it is for.

    And as far as it being your personal web space, I did not see anywhere the disclamer that the rifle is the only thing I can look at or download. If you dont want people lookin then dont post the link.
