I voted for Arnie, and I laugh at the puny girly men who don't.

There were about 25 people at my local polling place at 7 in the morning so you can bet Davis is getting ousted.

Bye bye triple car registration prices, good thing too as I'm getting a new car in a few weeks.

Wewt. There had already been about 250 votes taken by 10AM at my polling place.

That doesn't guarantee anything, though. Hopefully Davis goes to hell in a flaming ball of fiery.. er.. fire.

Please, he has no chance. The voter turnout is estimated at about 15,380,526 people, and that many people aren't voting unless they're ****, and they're only **** at one person.

I want to vote, but I'm 16. Arnold forever.

I bet my dad £5 that Arnie would win - I hope he doesn't though.

What's wrong with Arnold winning? He's not even a conservative so all the liberals have nothing to complain about, you honestly would rather have Davis in office, if so you need your head examined, but seeing as you aren't from the US let alone California I guess you just bought into the "actor baaaad" thing.

No - I'm a Democrat and I don't agree with the idea of a recall election but I really don't want to get into this.

But thank you for sterotyping me anyway.

California has some serious problems and I doubt that an actor is going to have the insight to fix them, sorry. Besides, look at what happened the last time we elected an actor...

He has a very good political team to help him, he was a figure head to run their campaign and he had his own money so they wouldn't have to be bought by anyone to win, that was the whole point. His team already produced the idea of taxing Indian run casinos which estimate about 6 billion yearly revenue completely tax free at the moment.

Isn't saying something like "I'm a Democrat" stereotyping yourself? I mean you would really rather vote to keep Davis in just because he is a Democrat despite the horrible job he's done, well I'm not surprised that is how he got back into office.

I'm sure not a Republican and I voted for Arnold, why? Because Davis doesn't deserve to be in office another hour let alone months and Camejo has no chance of winning.

I was trying to give you my point of view.

I don't agree with the idea of a recall election as I stated and so you should have been stuck with him for the duration of his term, which is why I'd rather see Davis back in then a new person.

    ouch.

well i thought you honestly thought arnold would make a sh*tty president just because he's who he is.. i'm 16, and there are so many pseudo-intellectuals my age who say ARNOLD SUCKS HOW COULD ANYONE POSSIBLY VOTE FOR SOMEONE WITH NO EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER???

and i was just trying to put across that when we vote for arnold, we're voting for a good, charismatic figurehead. but BECAUSE he'll be well advised, it's not like he'll just sit and DURR DURR DURR all day and sign the state of california to ruin.

    dig?

I think any american who votes deserves a medal. I've spoken to far too many who simply dont vote becaue 'It wouldn't matter anyway, whats one vote?' and then proceed to complain about their elected such and such. A country really, imo, wont run to the best of its powers unless it is the law to vote. In Australia failing to vote carries some hefty fines, sure, there are some down sides (like donkey votes) but all in all, its much better.

But this is offtopic, not discussion, sorry for going off on a tangent
