I Think I Just Heard Monse Cry...

Cubs lose...
The improbably has just happened. The Marlins have come back from 3-1 to win the NLCS. My sympathies to the Cubs fans on these forums. That's gotta be a tough loss. I feel for you guys I really do. The 95 year championshipless streak continues...
*raises a beer in honor of the fallen Cubs* It was a hell of a fight. Nothing to be ashamed of there.

Yeah, sorry guys, I really wanted to see them win too, even though Im not a baseball fan.
Woods who? Prior what?
Got through the 2 best pitchers back to back on their homefield. Never give up!

Cept for Australia, who are like America's annoying kid brother trying to tag along. No wait, we wish we were America's annoying kid brother.
Well, that's been the attitude of our glorious leadership since time immemorial, anyway

yeah, thats basically how it went down
nobody actually expected the lovable loosers to pull it off, although it would have been nice
then again I don't really follow baseball...
Too bad.
Stupid stinking pretend team like the Marlins (which will be contracted and gone within 5 years anyways) gets to go with all 50 of their lame fairweather crapbird fans and their abomination of a football field stadium. Going to be laughing my arse off when they can't even fill their stadium for a World Series game without an opposing team's help. During the NLCS at least 25% of the people there were Cubs fans that travelled from all over to see the Cubs make a pennant bid... Miami is so worthless.
So disappointing...

Did I say the Cubs were a better team? Please show me where. Did I mention the fan? Where?
The point I was making is Marlins "fans" don't deserve to see their team in the world series. Using the word "fans" is a long stretch of the imagination, considering your team is #3 on the contraction list due to apathetic ticket sales, and you will not be able to fill your own football field in your own world series. The marlins do not deserve to exist due to their "fans" not existing, hence I can vent about your "fans" all the doo dar day.
This is going to be one the of the lowest-rated world series ever if the Yankees get in. The marlins winning was terrible for baseball as a sport, when baseball needs every real fan it can get. Cubs-Yankees or Cubs-Sox would have helped a lot, but now everyone will just watch crappy football. Bah! Bud Selig deserves to die.
Teflon - I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, but I'm from Chicago.

Wow, that's awesome. The year you won the World Series with an expansion team roster of superstars, you still only managed to barely fill half your seats on average. And this year, where you are going to the WS again, it's an even more pathetic 25%. Woohoo, you go on with your bad selves, you diehard fish fans! Both of you!
Bleh.
*chortle*
Next up, Ness tells us about how we need air to breath, and how the sun is very hot.
