I mean when u look at what marines could get for 100 res, 3 fully equiped ha ...
the only use I find to an onos is the stomp ability, wich is the only thing that can stop an ha train ( provided u got teammate ).
I feel it should be a real juggernaut, I mean at first marines were afraid of it, now it is more of a hunt the onos, they all swarm you, and u die, cause u're so big and slow and clumsy.
What are u're feelings about it ?

Stomp is powerful as hell, some might even say its overpowered. An onos will NOT die to a heavy train if he is good, he could easily STOMP AND RUN AWAY. An onos will kill 3 HA with hmgs/shotties as long as they don't have higher ground(and the onos has stomp). And celerity makes the onos much faster, adren allows the onos to abuse stomp even more.
Second, if you're a one hive onos, you deserve everything you get. Next time drop a hive. If its endgame, you could have tried to rebuild a hive, and if that wasn't possible then you're just stalling for time. No one alien creature is really designed to be useful all the time, with the possible exception of the gorge.
Onos really benefit from two or more hives, and IMHO thats just right as you really shouldn't be in the situation to be a one hive onos unless you're a smacktard or you're about to lose the game and are hoping the onos can snuff the incoming heavy train.
n other maps are trickier for onos...nah, its all worth the 100 res

and early onos (even one hive!) CAN be a game ender

you should not be attacking a HA train alone. onos is worth the res if u dont do foolish actions
onos is worth way more than 100 res- no vanilla marines can touch it, cept in crowded spaces, and it easily takes down heavies.. eating and prodding.... also, its the only alien unit that can touch heavies
its only real weakness is to jetpackers, but as far as pub games go, youll be fine.
Reduce the cost to 40. This would put it in line with HA Marines.
Change the default HP and armour to 500 each. Defence chambers would add as much as 1000 Armour.
Add the Acid Rocket ability to it, and call it "Onos Spit", and make it do 60 ranged damage. This would replace devour at hive 3.
Replace Stomp with Blink. Nuff said.
Make the Onos smaller. Face it: Ducking into corrodors sucks and is unprofessional, and definatly unrealistic.
After 20 seconds, it can regenerate with half of it's hitpoints and full armour.
Speed it up. Ideally, give it a constant "charge" effect. This would make it more realistic, having those horns. Upon contact, send marines comically flying into walls.
I sincerly hope that people agree with my excellent and credable ideas on how to make the game 100% balanced for the aliens.

If you're stupid for real, please read on.
By "(acid rocket)" <-- note the ( ), i mean a fade using acid rocket.
The fade is a risky investment because it relies on fighting skills (blink swipe blink heal ad nauseum) , the onos is risky as well because it relies on tactical decisions (when to retreat , what to eat , where to go) ; fades are all around superskulks , onos are the specialized heavy class. Regardless of the upgrade order , a hive 2 onos is much more durable than a hive 1 onos.
With regen and SoF , a hive 2 onos can pick his fights and never be surprised by HA trains , there's always room to flee (unless the onos is surrounded , which denotes a poor tactical sense) and nodes/phase/TFs to smash. With adren , a good onos can stop entire HA trains and help teammates to a greater degree , and destroy bases faster. With celerity , a skilled onos is very hard to catch , and can intervene anywhere.

In what's probably a vain effort to retain my sanity, I'm going to assume this is sarcasm. Sad that internet communications are such that there is a possibility you're being serious.
capable of attacking a good number of marines but not too much (i.e. 3 to 6 depending on terrain, upgrades and equipment.).

That's a hitbox problem.
Basically, you don't know where the hitboxes on onos are, and therefore when you shoot at them you miss a lot and they kill you.
On the other hand, when you're an onos everyone else pretty much knows where the hitboxes are so you die instantly.
I don't find onos overpowered. But that's because I know where the hitboxes are. Once I killed an entire team of onos (yes, their ENTIRE TEAM was onos) at sewer hive in ns_mineshaft with just a level 3 shotgun and pistol, in light armor by myself.
(Actually it was a 2v2 so there were only 2 onoses, and they had no D chambers and only one hive... but still! One LA marine with a shotgun/pistol killed 2 onoses within a couple seconds of each other :-D)

Stop trying to nerf the onos, they're weak enough as it is!
The only two skills the onos dont work very well with is silence and pheromones, but on the other hand ...If you can use devour and stomp correctly , you will win the game. Gore does nice damage, and charge gives much needed speedincrease(hopefully this will be fixed in 2.1)
So all and all, the onos is not worth 100 res, but I does have a truly powerful side...
