<div class="IPBDescription">quick and easy :)</div> Ok im sure some of you know these commands but i messed with them and got a fairly good looking tracer bullet (yes, its that yellow thing that flys out of the gun when you shoot)
Type these in your console for the new tracers:
tracerred 255
traceralpha .35 (NOTICE THE .!!!)
tracerlength 40
tracerspeed 2000
That should make a nice red tracer like you would see in movies! (yayayayay!!!)
Other commands are:
tracerred, tracergreen, tracerblue (rgb color silly) 0-255
tracerlength
traceralpha
tracerspeed
there may be a few others but i dont have them :/

Oh yea the tracers seem to reset when you quit the game, so do what he said and put it in autoexec.cfg

Actually i am on 56k this weekend so i can't see how it looks, please post pics.
TO MAKE THIS ALWAYS WORK. COPY AND PASTE:
tracerred 255
traceralpha .35
tracerlength 40
tracerspeed 2000
INTO YOUR NS/AUTOEXEC.CFG
1) Open up notepad
2) Paste what you copied from here into it
3) Save
4) Wallah
looks good with team fortress too <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I have NS here too but i don't play online and you don't see it from First person... i think.
EDIT: On second thought, this is a stupid question, don't bother answering it. XD
Dark:
Put it in your autoexec.cfg
And it's also hard to see at times since you don't see tracers 100% of the time. I saw it and thought it was pretty cool. They could last for another 1/2 second longer though. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
If you have a problem with it. I'll post up my autoexec.cfg so you guys can use it. Has the tracers and voice_loopback 1 on it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
then put stuff into it, i tired this thing and i cant see the tracers either !

Exactly!
in your mods directory, so in this case, in the folder named "ns"
if it's not there, just make a new .cfg file yourself and name it autoexec.cfg
JEE WOLF YA REALLY GOT TO BE THAT HARSH DONT YOU <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->
