oh plz.... 2mb for a SINGLE sig is way too much! lets say there are 5 different peaople on one page, then u have to load 10mb of useles junk! lets keep it more realistic, i still think 50kb are a good value

Anyway, []inveigle[], you need to learn how to create animated .gifs before attempting to make animated .gifs catering to size limits. Attached below is the Cowboy Bebop image you posted, but i've optimised it down to 21kb, from the ridiculously high 120kb one. You need, desperately, to learn about optimisation. You have 7-8 unused frames, which i deleted, you were using a 256 colour palette when only about 30 are used (I dropped it to 20 for filesize reasons) and if in doubt, you can always resize the image, which i did. I only dropped it by 20 pixels or so in length.

Infact, i wish it were just a case of optimisation. But before it came to optimising the image, i had to correct your mistakes and poor practices. I had to go through the image and remove seven to eight frames because you had duplicates in there, i presume to slow the framerate down, considering each frame was set with a timer of 0s. So after i removed the needless frames and their images (I did this in ImageReady) you were left with a 70kb image. That's right, nearly <b>half</b> of your image was your mistakes and poor techniques, that is wasteful and the work of someone who doesn't know what they're doing, to be honest.
Modelling isn't what i do, first and foremost i'm a graphic designer, hence the degree i'm studying in it, don't try and patronise me.

It is smoother than yours, probably thanks to removed duplicates and general tweaking. And the fact that the size has dropped from 120kb to 20 is enough on it's own to make it better. And as a sidenote, please lose that arrogant tone in your posts. You will soon find yourself as the center of a flamewar.
