I was thinking about the revolving doors and i remember how it used to pass through the surrounding walls when it rotated, it looked off and quite ugly. I was thinking it would look better if the rotating door was smaller in radius than the circular walls that hold it, so that no parts of it ever go through the walls. I doubt you would be able to see anything on the other side.
blueman started the work on tram tunnel after finishing his seven thousand exams, insane is still working on EM Drill and MrBen is going to do new infestation for feedwater and engine...

Well, so far everything looks great, but I have a suggetion.
How about adding the list of mappers/areas and the progress map you showed early in the thread to the FAQ? This thread could easily get as long as the Nancy one (>115 pages) and it's gonna be a pain to dig through it.

why not put that RT on the other side of the room from the CC? that's the least obtrusive place, IMO...

It also added somewhere in the neighborhood of ten second to the ms->engine hive travel time. That would be the tricky part: maintaining that travel time AND removing the door. Honestly i'd rather have it in for balance and try to optimize map performance elsewhere.

About expanding bast... well, we've been thinking of adding alternative routes to areas like... engine hive, for example. I actually like your idea, but we'll have to see how everything evolves while we get close to the tweaking stage.
Edit: And, uh... Ollj, the revolving door takes... ONE entity, and two more per button, so it makes the total of: THREE entities. I don't think that's wasting entities, at all.

instead of the revolving door make a airlock style door where only one door can stay open at a time and there is like a delay between closing one door and opening another that way there wont be as many stuck issues and clipping issues just a idea but since its pretty much done i doubt youll change it
Funny thought: One of the WORST parts of bast was tram tunnel. Aliens just didn't stand a chance. Drop a siege base there, and you have big long WIDE corridors in each direction.

Ah sure, a mobile tram sounds fine until the comm starts smashing onos with it... I'm all for adding more general decay in to tram tunnel. Make it less brightly lit and add fallen tracks and pillars to give skulks a chance in there, while still making it a viable siege spot.
