Most Painful Experience?

the accident, pain, and story thread
Well, I've had my finger crushed by huge steel, and sprained muscles here and there, collisions, sharp and deep cuts, getting shot, but the funny thing is that the most painful experience I remember came from a toothache!? Well not just an ordinary toothache, my tooth was completely rotten black and I remember them sticking three needles of anesthetics into my gums, but to no avail. Of course this was when I was like seven, at an age where pain is less tolerable...But it is for some reason, the most vivid pain of my life?? Is it because the nerves by the teeth are close to the brain?
So, what kind of serious accidents/experiences have you been through that make you remember enough of the pain. I know it isn't gratifying to think about such things, but it is fun to think about for me

a red dodge pickup backs out of a driveway ahead of me, and trying to swerve but being to much of a noob to do it properly,
i smack into the back of the pickup, and careen across the street, to the other sidewalk.
i don't know the other sidewalk, so there i am, amateur 10yo rollerblader, jumping over pots and bushes and other crap..
and then i hit some cardboard.. and this is like a 60degree incline. no joke.
so i hit the ground, rolling like a frickin wheel, and try to get right side up.. bad idea.
so then i'm using my knee as a brake..
so yeah.
there wasn't much left. i had to grow most of it back =\
While i was working at a theatre, the work was so hard it hurt at times, put my back out once or twice, usually my own fault really.
Other than that, this one time, we were loading the scenery for one show into a truck to be taken to storage. I was in the front of the truck stacking stuff up whilst the other guys passed me things up to put in. Anyway, at one point a stack of 2m by 3m, 18mm thick chipboard, about 10-15 sheets, that i'd not secured yet (There were more that needed to go with them before i tied them up) fell, and started coming towards me. I tried to duck out of the way but as i ducked down they fell on the side of my head, trapping my head between these sheets (Which weigh a LOT) and another bit of scenery on the other side.
Anyway, after all that i only had a little cut and a bump on my head, and after a sit down with a coffee and a cigarette i was good to go again. But i tell you, getting your head trapped with that much weight, i'm surprised i wasn't hurt a LOT more seriously.
That was just about as bad as when I fell off the monkey bars in 4th grade and broke my wrist in half.
The car wash was on a Friday, guess what I had to do on that Monday? March in a parade cuz I'm a band geek. Oh yeah.
So I Basically spent the next two days soaking my feet in ice water and slathering them in aloe (we had an aloe plant and thanks to me, it died). SO the day of the parade comes, we have to wear black socks and black dress kinda shoes, but I put em on and march, in constant pain nearly all of the time (Yes I know I'm stupid). So anyway, the parade ends and the first thing I do it take off my shoes. The socks, however, did not come off so easy. Thanks to the goo that came out of my feet my socks and my skin had fused into a single unit. It was disgusting and painful. I can only say one thing more about this: When you can take the skin off your feet in sheets and roll it up in balls the size of a pea, you have a quite potent weapon.
Someone was running down the hall and he jumped on his friend's backpack, and fell off holding his ****. There was a pencil sticking out of the guy's backpack and it pierced the other guy's "coin purse."
Ouchie.
in P.E. Class, I'm stretching with some of my buddies in one end of the gymnasium. I'm doing groin stretches, and this other guy takes out a wallet heavy with change, and...
/me breaks into tears
That one still hurts to think about.
The worst was probobly when I was 12. I was skating and by accident did a huge flip...and landed with my hand right under my ****.
Broken Arm.
200+ lb's on a arm isnt cool.
Regardless, my most painful experiences were unfortunately the ones that I had on a regular basis when I was younger. Up until my surgery I had no left ear drum, the unfortunate consequence of this was tons of ear infections, needless to say while the ear medication that I had made me cry, the vinegar that was put in my ear from time to time made my mother and my sister cry just by watching me sit there in pain. Needless to say, it hurt, alot. Pain isn't a big deal, but for some reason when it's literally in your head, or deep in your in your ear canal, or cochlea in my case, it hurts... so much it's indescribable.
Nutted myself on a handrail in the terrain park last year, that was pretty bad. Umm, I landed straight on my head/shoulder doing a flare in the half-pipe - 14 ft walls. Lost both my skis hucking a 540 really hard off a big kicker and dropped about 15 feet straight on my ****, backwards. Pulled a superman on a handrail last year on my skates and dropped right on my hip over the top of the rail, then tipped over onto the steps. Worst I got out of all of this was just some bruises and scrapes though, I'm lucky.
Oh, and when I was little, some **** stepped on my hand with a hockey skate.
I was being stupid while riding a bike, and decided it would be cool to stop the front tire with my feet. Well, the sudden stoppage of front tire + the momentum of the bike launched my **** into the air. Then, gravity kicked in, and caused me to slide along the concrete.
Fired a gun one time, and the recoil of it (it was modified to shoot some round not ment to be shot in a pistol) caused me to chip a huge chunk of tooth.
Or there was the time where I pulled my a groin while doing crazy tuba dances to get the croud going. The really bad thing about that one: marching contest the next day, and having to march with my pulled pride.
Had a heavy rack of clothes rolled over my foot one time.
Another act of stupidity. Had to move my car so my friend could back up and take me and Co. to go muck about. They left the back of his van open, and I was to jump in the back. Lets just say, I didnt jump high enough, and my shins hurt really bad.
Had a tree branch jab me in the eye... I'm lucky there were no ants on it...
Been racked way too many times... (hope I can still have children...)
I've fallen over with a Sousaphone on me...
Had a 270+ man jump on me when i had no footing at all, pushing me straight into the ground, really killing my knees.
Been hit with a mouthpiece, trombone slide, drumstick, drum, xylophone, computer, dictionary, car door, chair, person, tree, and just about anything else that can cause physical pain.
So basically, throughout my existance on this planet, I have been bludgened, racked, smacked, racked, and any other thing you can think of.
Another sucky moment was when I was a senior in high school. I got my wisdom teeth pulled. Well, 3 of them were impacted (sp?) and I was stupid enough to be awake during the operation. No amount of painkillers can help with that. For the love of all that is holy, if you ever have to get your wisdom teeth pulled, get knocked out.
Why the hell were you handling 12 Molar Nitric acid without gloves (although I can understand laziness sometimes)? That's insane. You still have all the fingers?
Nothing really happened to me. Been close, but nothing ever broken, no severe infections, toothaches, or headaches. The worst would probably be falling off my bike and falling on some glass which tore my arm up a bit. No stitches though, it just bled alot, and then, stopped.
Well, I forgot that there were no hand brakes (it was old-school and it was braked by backpedaling).
I fell off and got a face full of concrete and broken glass and sand. Good thing I missed the fence that was near there...it was like a wrought-iron fence with spiky points. Now, I don't think it was painful cause mostly I was in shock from a concussion (and I think they later aenesthized me), but I still have a couple of scars from it.
The really painful one was one time I was out at this church "retreat/camp" thing, and I was chasing my youth group leader with a 2liter bottle that he just emptied on me. I slipped on the edge of this pavement strip and fell, then slid a long way on it on my elbow...my elbow was pretty messed up for a couple of weeks after that. Scar is still there too. Good thing I didn't break anything.
ROFL!
meh, it wasnt that bad..... just god please dont make that happen again.

lol I know those, some people call them charlie horses or whatever.
Yea i woke up all sleepy, stretched my legs, suddenly felt something like "ripple" in both my legs and WHAM I got that blinding OMFGZ0R AHHHHHHHHHHHHH sharp pain in both my legs at the same time.
I think it happens when u have low potassium in you.
Oh well It woke me up.
I don't get hurt a lot but when I do get hurt, it's usually somthing pretty serious....
Ill say this, i've been stitched 5 or 6 times with almost a total of 50 stitches......muahahaha.
The most painful was the day after I had surgery on my knee...I have an extremely large pain tolerance, but the day after I had surgery was too much....It was the first time I cried from pain since I was about 9 years old. I tried puting weight on my leg and practically fell over....stupid me.
I was riding my bike down the road, and my front tire went all nuts. Next thing I know, I'm in the forest on the side of the road and my bike is all bent and beat up...pffft. I felt fine right then...went to sleep a few hours later, woke up around 5, my hand had gone over the side of the bed and all the blood had gone to it. That makes it hurt...wasn't really to bad though.
Maybe I need to go get injured; it's just so hard .
