*Finishes eating his meal.* "Yeah, the more rich you are, the harder you are to kill i reckon, seeing how you can buy the bigger mechs and guns that way."

"Ya, guess riches help a bit. Brains are worth far more though. Even the largest mech can't win if the driver doesn't think before shooting. Trust me, I've seen people fall because they thought their riches protected them. How very wrong they were..."
As Demi runs across the base a convoy of tanks and jeeps come speeding in almost hitting him, the officer from the briefing room seems Demi and calls to him. "YOU GO GET THE OTHERS !!!! WE GOT THE INTEL !!!" He then takes some equipment from a pilot and helps him to the war room.
"Intel? Great!" *gets a hand ful of the fries and runs outside* "Bout time that arrived!" *runs to war room as I stuff my mouth with the fries*
"Sorry about this gentlemen but get use to it." The officer says as you all go in. "This is Tim Noonan the pilot who was shot down, he will debrief you as much as he can." The officer informs before sitting down. "Hi there, staright to the point the target is a training camp and supply depot dangerously close nearby, how they got past i don't know, right now it's lightly defended, it seems every 3 hours the tanks patrolling return to the garage and then come out after 30 minutes, this happened at 11 this morning so keep that in mind, the area is very flat except for the west which has a few hills, roughly the height of your Hummers." *He loads a image onto the projector.* "Sorry about the quality but its straight out the plane, as you can see it's lightly guarded, the tanks are 'Sliders' no threat there also the turrets only fire bullets not RPGs or warheads, the base has no scanning equipment and the hills can be walked up in a mech, they may also have less tanks as there was a battle between U.E.N tanks and G.A.C tanks when i was shot down, we took no casualties but there were rumorus of 3 tanks destoryed on the U.E.N side, any questions?"
"i say lets go to the west where the Hills are, get the good snipers out and take a couple of those tanks out. Then the rest of you lot with lmgs and slugs run in and finsh the job. What cha think?"
"What's the orientation of the U.A.C base in relation to the hills, sir? The rear of the base seems light on defense. If the back of the base is to the hills, we could use their lack of defense to our advantage."
"i think it is to the side. A full on assualt would be stupid, they might call in reinfocements. We could cloak our way in there as they have no scanners... I still think that a sniper could take out 2-3 tanks before getting noticed and then the rest of you un in and destroy the tanks and the turret defences. When those turrets and tanks are gone we can go in and see if there are anythings worth taking for our mechs."
"Back of the base isn't guarded at all however the turrets may see you attacking from the front or East of the base, you can use the hill for cover as you sneak round the back."
"Hmmm... dont know. The back way seems bit too quiet. I think theyre expecting us to use that route. Dont think full assault would be the best either. Slugs need to get up close and personal, can do with stealth packs. LMGs/LARs can provide support fire. I got no idea what way to go."
"how bout my idea snipers provide like you said, suport fire while the Slugs take out the tanks. Or, snipers take out all the tanks and then we go in and finsh it up."
"Well they don't seem very well guarded, so i'm guessing there new here, which means the back could be safe, i doubt they would have a minefield up yet, how about slugs cloak walk in from the back, SA's snipe from the hills while 1 dual guards the SA's and the other joins the slugs ?"
"Still, I don't like the idea of trusting neither cloaking nor snipers alone."
*Looks at maps, thinking*
"Still, that hill looks nice. Put the snipers up there, but wait untill we're ready. How long is their sight range out there? I say we try to observe if they really do return to the hanger, and if so, that would be a good time for the hit. If not, I suggest someone feigns a charge from the front, supported by snipers. That way, the rest can move around the camp, hitting them in the back when they'll be unable to react on that. Are the walls high enough for visual cover, or do we have to move around cloaked after the battle has begun?"
"Its quite hard to mention that "your" plan, because you didnt exactly go specific in it. Couple from front, couple from back and few snipers on the hill. I think that might work.
"If we all attack from behind, they all defend behind. I don't think that would work. Key is to make sure their turrets are pointed the wrong way when we attack. Snipers on the hill. They start firing same time as someone rushes from the hills. Then, once they are ready to defend from the hills, we attack from the other side. That way, we can take out a lot of them before they are even ready to return fire against the real attacking force."
That'd be nice... 'cept three pronged attack will be kinda difficult with our numbers. That's 8 tanks and 5 turrets that we're gonna be attacking with only the 7 of us. We have 2 snipers, and if we leave one more to guard the snipers from close range, that leaves only four of us going in close.
We'll be pretty thinly spread if we run a three pronged attack. I say we do a two element attack, with the snipers as the early distraction and the rest of us getting up close and personal with them.
