<div class="IPBDescription">Post your best photography</div> I wanted to give this idea one last try. Post pictures you've taken in game, but read the guidelines carefully.
<span style='color:red'>Guidelines:
1. Crop your pictures
2. No text or crosshairs should be visible (pics should look like they're actually taken by a camera) and should be removed before the picture is posted. Don't leave your gun in the pics either.
3. Only best pictures (nothing of common images or situations) We need drama and excitement.
4. This isn't a thread for silly or goofy pictures. They need to be serious in nature. They should try and capture the serious side of NS.
5. Default models are required unless the picture is excellent.
</span>
Tip:
Bind a key that is easily reached while playing to be your screenshot key. When in battle lower your crosshairs so that they wont get in the picture, and just keep pushing the screen shot key. You might get lucky.
Here are the pictures I have taken. Note that they follow the guidelines and to me, seem pretty unique, then, post your own!
This picture is one of my favorites. The angle is just right, and they seem to be staring right at eachother. The Fade's arms are outstretched in what almost looks like a Holy-Cross sort of position, making it seem like an apocalyptic photo. The red sky of Hera adds to the effect.
**PHOTOGRAPHER'S TOOLKIT!!**
<a href='http://romano.webhop.org/cgi-bin/download.pl?file=PhotographersToolkit_2.zip' target='_blank'>Right HERE!</a>
Before using the photographer's toolkit, be sure to back up all of the files in your models and sprites folders. The toolkit removes them so that you can take photos FULLSCREEN!

look at this absolutely chilling image.
ayumi is an extremely picturesque map. The marine making his way through the mist seemed to me, a neat visual.
(I think it applies to guidelines. I like it anyway)
I couldn't make it any bigger because some text was obstructing one of the right-side skulks and there was also a hivesight icon+text right above from where I cropped it.
edit: left != right <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I took that screen shot way back in 1.00-1.02 or whatever it was.
Too bad they named no name hive to mother now...
yea I know it was suposed to be that origionally but come on! Its an old timer tradtition to call it "no name" now lol. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

yes but at the moment ive only been playing combat maps
This is my second attempt at getting a thread like this going. Let's keep up the enthusiasm.
Also, I'm glad you edited out the text. That's exactly what i want.
2. WTH, Gamma a bit high or what, almost looks like it was taken IN hammer!
Anyways, nice pics guys keep em up!
Lieutenant Daniel Mills makes his way to the beleaguered marines of 5th Company. A tense standoff has held the Frontiersmen at a draw for the past hour, and Mills is one of five elite soldiers from the famed 55th Ariadne Strikers sent in from the Warspite to break the enemy line.
Look closer though, I added the overlay thingie to hide the horrible blurring and resolution. +2 to nub rating <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
This picture was actually taken sideways. Since NS now turns you sideways when ur dead and you have no mroe ip's. All i did was get rid of the text on top and bottom, and post it here.
