I wanted to back onto the topic of good combat photography. I think this portrays the dependency on teammates and the fact that you can't watch you own back.
Could you please even read the first post? These are only for 'War time photographers'. No Photoshoppin (except crosshairs and borders) and no "five OCs and gorge on top of them" photos. Idea here is to make photograph art without camera in 'virtual reality' surroundings.
Thats my two cents. Trying to make these myself now when actually someone found good idea. Todays catch: Couple underweighted shrimps.
Oh yeah. Those undersized shrimps are here. These random catches are everywhere from 1.0 to 2.0 and found them somewhat surprisingly from screenshot archive.
First one, our brave photographer decided to take a shot with camera rather than helping out his even braver ally. Marine in picture survived and can be seen in boxing arena. Photographer can be seen in field medical center, room 5.
Second one. Well, this guy didnt make it. Good there is still photographers to take pictures after fights, someone might even forget what happened at all.
I know the second image falls out of catagory with 2 motion tracking circles, the crosshair and even the top of an hmg, but I really liked it. I believe all are shots are from v1.04

Ok. I didn't mean for this to be for funny pictures.
I wanted pictures that captured the feeling of NS. Serious pictures. Cool pictures. I don't want silly pictures or pics that have been redone with photoshop.
Look, I wanted to start a thread that tried to capture the serious side of NS through well timed (or just plain lucky) screenshots depicting the suspense and excitement of NS.
These are the guidelines for MY thread. I don't mean to flame or be pushy to anyone. If you guys want a funny pic thread, START ONE! I just want this to be serious, alright?
I'm sorry that I didn't include the fact that i wanted them to be serious in the beginning guidelines. I will edit them. I jus thought that my examples gave you that idea.
In all honestly, i thought mine was very serious. I jsut added a funny caption cause i didnt see the lerk until i posted it. As for teh photoshopped aprt of mine, it was an accident, i had my feather on 20 pixels.

This one isn't amazing or anything; I just thought it was an interesting arrangement of the marines. It looks almost as if they are huddled together, gossiping, with the unknowing target in the distance. The wall on the left makes it feel like the camera is panning from left to right, seeing this moment as just one vignette in the large scheme of things.
I like it, Windlekron. The camera placement suggested to me, that an alien was peeking from around the corner, seeing it's hive being threatened. It also does look like they're discussing the hive.

Nothing makes me as mad as finding a good, big, low ping server with 1 or 2 free slots. Then this hit's your face like a sledgehammer

ALSO no HUD icons AT ALL.

There two are not my best, but they both have some neat effects from the shotgun blasts in front of the camera.

Or you could see it as a screenshot...
Very good.
