    but everything else very nice

    you shouldnt model those turbines its a complete waste of poly space. remove it and spend those 1000 + polys on some more details on the ship

    Very awesome. It may just be the angle, but those rotors don't look COMPLETELY round, but like I said, could just be the angle.

    rotors have to be round.

    I think it would save alot of polies if you used "thrusters" instead of propellers like the dropship from halo.
    Still sexy nonetheless.. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Or maybe you could just remove the propellers and say that it hovars without flapping <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    1600 poly for both of them is excessive?

    Looks like what'd happen if a Halo Pelican and a C&C Orca had children.

    I think this is just a model for modeling's sake. And if it is for the game...well...not unless it's coded in. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    A dropship is gonna usually be alot of pollies.

    Why do people freak out if they have 5000+ pollies? This dropship wouldn't be anything without its turbines D:

    You dont need to model the turbines if your gonna use it in-game. its stupid. is better to skin them using transperancy between the blades.
