Yeah we do need some themed nodes. Because if you think about it, they should be leading to some kind of appliance or power-using object. Having nodes just sitting there doesn't make much sense, excluding the ones that are themed to be "emergency nodes."
I'll change my cup handle to a hexagon (can't believe I was so stupid to forget to set slices to 6!) but I don't think a box will look to great. I'm also going to make a liquid filled version and a spilled liquid version.

Im actually createing a world model directory tree as all these models are released. I can throw together a pack when were all done. That would be some months off yet though before a decent pack of a veriety of models is done. I got mintmns fan in 3 different sizes, I just doing a bunch of different skins for mintmans stuff to create a veriety of the same object.

some of my ideas are to make a turret that rotates like 10degrees only due to the infestation. the turret barrels will be still spinning.
perhaps a LMG or Pistol lying onthe ground with a laser sight on. how bout having a small room with body armor and helmets or even weapons lying around and bullet holes all over the place.
and for jokes...a command chair that has been infested with the commander trying to get out of it (animate the command chair openning a little bit then closing.

I love editing world models for ts... but since NS hasnt got like a single one im curious... How do you make if from scratch?
I can model... and animate..
All i realy need is .smd(the model) and idle.smd and a single animation.
Right? how do i make from scratch?
If this is anwered... I can make it to where a marine is in the CC witht he door barely opening back and forth with a marine in it try to open it with hands.

well you get milkshape 3d, decompile the b_commchair.mdl and it leaves you with tons of smds (reference smd, idle smd etc) then you can import that in ms3d and then do your work
