    What is your bands music LIKE?

    Honestly The Lucky 13s would be good for something along the lines of ska or punk, not rock....

    "Suburbian Terrorists"
    "Thirteen's lucky 37."
    "(your name here) makes a band"
    "Drummer, Bassist, Singer"
    "The Forums"

    ATi what do you think of "Thirteen's lucky 37"? It's kinda like the lucky thirteens only less tacky and with a double meaning.

    Oh I got a great one, how about "Metallica"

    Ska is basically reggae at a double tempo, sometimes with horns, sometimes not. For a good example of American Ska (very different from British Ska) you should try a song by The Aquabats called "Idiot Box", it is extremely ska.

    No Doubt is probably the best known ska, though probably also not the purest...

    omG I didn't know SO MUCH about ska <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    How about "Thirteen thirty Seven" or "Teh HaX"? Or...

    "A few good men"
    "John and the knees"
    "The devil-haddocks"
    "The Sunny-D generation"
    "Pass the bucket"
    "S.T.F.U" (everyone will know what it means, just never say it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
    "Anti-angst"
    "Velvet Space Marines"

    ^ Freshly anally removed. That means I pulled them out of my butt for the hard of thinking.

    *is given a restraining order from ever writing band names EVER*

    Ever notice how band names are just about anything? Crisp Celery could be a band name. Likewise, Inside-out underwear could be a band name. Anything could be a band name.. the more random the better.

    But my personal opinion about the band names is that lucky 13 is a good name. Think about all the cool stuff you could do with that. You could give band concerts at 13:00 hours on the 13th of any given month. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Chicken Fingers

    Thats what I would name my band.
  • pardzhpardzh Join Date: 2002-10-25 Member: 1601Members
    I'd name my band "Kitty on Speed" or maybe "Stoned Puppy" because they'd be easy to do CD covers for.

    Just draw a picture of an appropriately cute kitten/puppy whacked out on drugs.

    Most of the band names I can think of are based off of jokes. I made a graphic for a band name I made up called "No Seven" See if you can guess the joke!

    You should name it like some hardcore rock 80's band, something like Anal Sludge rofl <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
