Okies, Edited in the whole thing.
OK, here goes. My friend Levi was stabbed in the chest while eating at Ana Purna (Our Dining Hall) this evening. He was at the table behind me, and my back was to him at the time. He was only stabbed once, but after that he turned purple, then white, and passed out. The police and the paramedics arrived, he was put on a respirator, and after that He looked a hell of a lot better, then they took him to the hospital.
Ok, here I go at attempting to summarize the events that lead up to this point.
I was in class today, Education For Enlightenment, we had just meditated, and were watching a Maharishi Tape. In other words, I was asleep. I awoke to "****!" and turned around to see that Schubender (Schube) had John Killian in a headlock, and was punching him in the face. We quickly pulled them apart, and Killian was bleeding from the face. Professor Boothby and Professor Jones escorted the two out. Eventually Killian came back, to get his stuff. According to everyone around, including Killian, there was no provocation for the attack whatsoever.
Apparently, After this, Schube spent the evening with Joel Wysong (The Dean of Men), where it became clear that Schube had serious undiagnosed psychological issues. Wysong then let him go to eat at Ana Purna. Levi and I chilled out after class. We watched Naruto. We went to program. I got out of program earlier than he did, as he was snoozing. I went to Ana Purna, got my food, sat around with Kern, Andy, Aurel, Vikram, and a bunch of other guys. Levi came in later, and sat at the table behind me. We were talking, laughing, generally having a good time, when we heard swearing behind us. I dont remember the exact words. It was something along the lines of "What the **** did you just say to me?" "What the hell is going on?" And then I saw Schube pull away from Levi, and drop something. Levi was clutching his face, and looked shocked. There was chatter, screams, and generally "He stabbed him!" Schube backed away, Akbar picked up the knife off the ground, and put it on the table. There was blood on the table too. Levi turned purple, then collapsed into someones arms. Lyric called 911, and Joel Wysong apprehended Schube. There was general comotion and panic, then I ran out to Highway 1, and re-directed the ambulance (Which had just made a wrong turn) to Ana Purna. The cops were already there, and Kern says he saw them cuff Schube and remove him from the premises. Inside, The paramedics rushed in, and hooked Levi up to a respirator. He looked a hell of a lot better with that thing running. There was more general commotion, and he was taken to the Hospital. They are saying its Touch and Go right now. It seems like the stabbing, like the assault on Killian, was completely unprovoked.

Schubender has been officially arrested.

Levi Butler was pronounced dead at 8:30 March 1st, at Jefferson County Hospital, in Fairfield Iowa.
Schuvender Sem has been charged with First Degree Murder.
It seems Levi was stabbed at least 4 times, Probably the first 2-3 times in the back, while he was sitting down, then when he got up, and to say "WTH is going on?" he was stabbed the final time in the chest.
In the picture in the Newspaper, that **** is smirking.

Any more details? How big was the knife? What cause the death? bleeding?
My best wishes go out... the kind of people that kill unprovoked are the scum of the earth... even those with mental problems shouldn't be in society if they commit something like that.
