    holy crap I have no idea what to say it's so... horrible <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Why can someone just bring a kitchen knife like this and stab someone is just beyond my understanding.

    I just hope you get out of this ok and try to live through it, I know what it is like to lose someone, but I can't say I witnessed a murder, so.. there's no real words I can use to describe how I feel.

    Hey Soap, this is Mike. I registered here so I could maybe add something to this post. For those of you on this board, I'm Narfwak's older brother and best friends with Soap. Soap and I grew up together in the same town where this just happened.

    First and foremost I want to add my condolences. I'm so sorry such a thing had to happen to Levi, you, and the whole community there at MUM. Even though I never got to meet Levi, the news still hit me pretty hard. Just as if somebody like Paul, or god forbid you, who I did grow up knowing, had something like this happen to them. I can't imagine how you must feel having been there, and having been so close to Levi. I've been a little shaken up all day and shed some tears when I read the news.

    It really bothers me that something like this happened at MUM. It's the first time a tragedy like this has ever happened in or around something I have been fairly close to. I can still picture Ana Purna, and I have this idea running through my head of what the scene must have looked like. The senslessness of this kind of violence is very frustrating and depressing. It has really reminded me of the importance of valuing somebody's life, as well as making the most out your own.

    Again, my condolences to you and everybody there at MUM. If you need to talk at anytime (and I mean anytime, day or night) feel free to call or e-mail.

    Good luck and stay strong,
    Mike

    but...

    sigh.

    such is life. full of joy, happiness, sorrow, anguish. I just hope you can remember all the good times you guys spent together and not let yourself get bent too much out of shape.

    Good luck to you and yours,

    Please update us with what happens to the psycho **** who did that to your friend. Personally, If that happened to one of my friends, I don't know if I could stop myself from getting revenge of some sort.

    Don't get too depressed over what happend....Think of all the fun times you guys had instead of thinking about his death....Goodluck to you and everyone else...

    Dude, I'm sorry for that... Really, my condolences... Study in a Catholic school, and at school we can ask the priest to dedicate certain mass to departed ones. Most of the times is not full of names, and is normally of relatives of people. When another one of those mass happens, I'll be sure to include Levi's name...

    If that would have happened to a friend of mine... I really dunno what I would have done... I mean, you and your friends acted quickly... If it was me, I'd probably wouldn't call 911. I'd just beat the living crap out of the dude who stabed him.....

    Thanks Mike and all you guys, and welcome to the NS Forums. Sucks that this is why though.
    When you said it was like finding out someone like Paul, or Me could have been in this situation, it really brings up something that has been on everybodies mind since it happened. It really could have been anybody that got stabbed. When I think, if only we had given in to the temptations of Anime, and kept watching Naruto, Levi might still be alive. Then you realize, that even if Levi wasnt there, its almost certain that someone else would have been stabbed. It could have been Rama, Kern, or even me. And its not like self defence would have been an option either, as it is pretty clear that before Levi had even gotten to his feet, he had already been stabbed at least twice...

    After seeing the grin on Schubes face in his mugshot, prison rape is almost too good for him. Its just, why the hell did he have to take my friend away on own spiral into hell...

    Thanks for the info update. Did this kid have a previous history? I remember you talking about someone in your class being kinda weird and a little violent.

    I'm kinda wondering how the faculty is going to handle this as well. It does seem like they made a poor judgement (letting him go) after determining this kid was disturbed, and that the earlier incident wasn't just beef.

    By the way, have you talked to the kid who was attacked earlier?

    If Schuvender had a history, no one knew about it. After he stabbed Killian in the face with a pen (It looked like he was punching him, but apparently there was a pen involved, Oh, and if Killian hadnt put his hand up in time, that pen would have gone right through his neck) he was removed from class, and rumors started to emerge that his father was abusive, and that he had been in and out of mental institutions in the past. These might just have been rumors however.

    As to me talking about someone in my class being weird and a litte violent, if I did say that, it was about someone else. Schube had been the voice of reason prior to this, when Kern wanted to beat the snot out of Greg, Schube was the one who kept a lid on things.

    Im wondering what the faculty is going to do as well, I wouldnt be surprised if Wysong resigned, theres a lot of h8 going his way for letting Schube go to Purna after the incident with Killian...

    And no, I havent talked to Killian, in fact, I havent seen him since the first incident. Its gotta be disconcerting, because in his case, "It could have been me" is even closer than it is to the rest of us.

    Soap, you know I don't drink, so I need comfort food instead. I'm picking up a pizza, some chocolate milk, and a movie. There's no way I could feel like working on my rhetoric paper right now. By the way holmes, don't get real hammered or anything. It'd suck if you got into some trouble or an accident after this for drinking/because you were drinking.

    Levi = 1337 forever

    Ive only gotten drunk once in my life, and it really wasnt all that great. And I felt like fecal matter for 2 days afterwards. I had no idea the effect alchohol has on your digestive system...

    Anyway, I didnt have any alchohol within reach, so Im drinking hot chocolate. Much better choice really, especially if Im gonna go to bed sometime...

    Ugh, I don't know what to say. It's such bull**** that this stuff happens, for seemingly no reason at all.

    My condolences. Levi is with God now.
  • embsfembsf Join Date: 2004-03-02 Member: 27070Members
    Yeah, hot chocolate good choice. I've got some Reed's Jamaican ginger ale, and my pizza just arrived. I rented the Nutty Proffesor 2. I wanted something stupid funny. Actually, I almost rented pretty woman, but decided even that was still a little heavy for right now. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Anyway, I was just thinking about what you (soap) said concerning what I said about how the attack could have been anybody. It reminded me of how many times we talked about me visiting. Not to mention, I was thinking of transfering becuase I'm not feeling school here. This event could've taken place at any time really. Scary to think of how random it was, and how it might've happened in the future where more might've people were hurt (maybe even including myself) At least doofus didn't have a gun.

    By the way, this reminded me of Michael Datko (remember him <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) He radomly slugged me in the face one day, and laughed. Yes Narfwak, he did. And why did he do this? He did this because Bevin thought Tupac was better than Greenday, and I agreed with Bevan (this was during Tupac's heyday).

    It saddens me that such a young man had to die in such a violent way. It also saddens me that there werent the correct facilities in place at your school for the young man the carried out the act to be filtered out for his psycological imbalence and violent tendancies.

    My heart goes out to you and the boys family as you are the ones left to deal with the aftermath of such a violent experience. Only advice anyone can give you is not to bottle ANYTHING up, weather you think you need to talk about things or not make sure you do.

    Take it easy bro.

    Sounds to me like your dean should take a little responsibility. After finding out the pupil in question had a psychosis that tended towards sudden outbursts of violent behaviour and that he'd already seriously harmed someone, he signed your friends life off by still allowing the kid to go to a public area without any kind of supervision.
    Mentally ill people aren't in full control of themselves usually and allowing someone with an unstable mind to go into a lunch hall without someone keeping an eye on them is like unleashing a rabid rottweiler in a crowded room.

    <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
    I totally agree, what kind of person would let a violent student stay in school?
