    Well, I can only say I dont agree. It's one thing to talk about balance, and another to say
    <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->the skulk should win EVERY TIME<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    And to some extent you need to allow jumping/strafe jumping to simulate the marine dodging the alien. How much is another matter.

    Well don't get me started on jumping. A single jump is one thing, but CONTUINUALLY jumping and firing in EVERY encounter just looks plain sill and ruins the atmosphere. That kind of gamplay belongs in TFC, not in NS. In reality people jump because they KNOW they can exploit the game mechanics to prolong their life. Many times bites will not register on a hoppy marin even though they SHOULD register. We've been after this bug for ages and have never nailed it down 100%.

    Regards,

    Savant

    1) If you have an LMG, think smart.

    2) If you have a shotgun, aim fast.

    Simple as that.
