So, has anyone seen any movies that have been out for a while, but you just haven't gotten around to seeing yet, and now that you have, you realize they're great?
meh, this is REALLY old...but, "the great race." lol, this is a really funny movie. it's with jack lemmon when he was younger. (he's been in grumpy and grumpier old men, out to sea, and the odd couple.) <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I also highly recommend anything with Leslie Nielson.
Finally, The Beast. Great movie about the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan. (This would be a must-rent for CWAG). I really enjoyed it, and hell, you should all rent it.

Lord of the Flies<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> I wouldn't reccommend watching the film of The Lord of the Flies, I read the book first and I thought it was amazing, the best book I'd ever read. When I saw the film I was really dissapointed. It gives you a visual image of what the boys looked like, and what the island looked like, and it was nowhere near as deep on film.
The same goes for other films based on books, War of the Worlds, Day of the Triffids I loved them all when I read them, but after watching it on film I couldn't actually read through them again.
Anyway, I would recommend any film directed by Kubrick
Indiana Jones All Star Wars series (except Episode I and II)
Never get tired of seeing them <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Alien trilogy Die Hard Predator Apocalypse Now L.A. Confidential The Thing Back to the Future trilogy Godfather 1/2 Ghostbusters 1/2 Jurassic Park Citizen Kane
Some very old, some old compared to today. All superlative.

Stallone's acting is horrible yes, but other than that the movie is good.
