edit: what do they mean, they "make water from spacecraft technology"
That's like saying you make spaghetti with power turbines or something. Or am I missing something?

So true.

ever see that 7up commercial, with a bear "doing his buisness" in the river? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It is likely that there is little increase in cancer risk if you don't drink the bottled water regularly. This may well apply to other bottled water that uses ozone to steralize the water, as the ozone can evidently react with the bromide ions oxidising them to bromate. (Note; the above is speculation. I make no claims for the validity of the above)
I must say that one bit made me think 'Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?'

I don't know what they are going on about there. Unless they mean that Calcuim Chloride is a very similar substance to Calcium Bromide, I really don't know what they are getting at.

NASA has been at the forfront of all sorts of technology for years. They invented the HACCP (prononced Ha-sip) system. It stands for "Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points". Basically, it's a way to keep foods from becoming comtaminated/germ-infested while being prepared. Naturally, this was developed to keep astronauts from eating contminated food while in space. The kitchen I work at uses it, as does virtually any kitchen in the US. We are, in essence, using 'Space-age technology.' That is what Dasani means when they say their water is purified with spacecraft tech.
Anyway, whats the big deal with bottled water anyway? I mean, its water. And its in a bottle. And it costs $1, even though there is a drinking fountain withing 5 feet.
Plus, when they purify it, they remove all the minerals, a good deal of which are beneficial.
I bet people still buy it.
I think it is. I'm probly gonna have cancer at some point, skin cancer runs on both sides of my family. Might as well laugh at it before it kills me (or gets my nose amputated).

How could you forget NASA's greatest invention!??

I always thought nasa's greatest invention was the 7 zillion dollar foam mattress.
Growing up in a city and moving to a rural area accentuate your death age by 5 years.
Natural Air in any place but rural areas causes Lung Cancer.
Being within 40 feet of someone smoking will effect your lungs just as bad as smoking, if not worse.
There is 4-10 traces of cyanide for every hamburger. There are 15-20 traces for every steak.
There are a lot more. Just look on any environmental health site.

Exactly, we are the beginning of the end for the human race. We consistently ignore the harfull effects of the things we put in our bodies because untill we get ill it's not our problem but by then it's too late. We are infecting the gene pool to with our pollution and it will probably be our undoing.
