B for sure. If you dont get the mil., you're still no worse off than you were already, so might as well go for it.

The box will always have a 50/50 chance to anyone who walks in, sees nothing of the other people's choices, and chooses box B on a whim of greed with a normal human in the place of this future-seeing being.

However, because the being already knows what will happen, he technically controls your destiny. Yes, that's right, just by looking into YOUR future, your fate is sealed to what HE sees. If he sees 1 million in the box, you'll get 1 million. If he doesn't you dont get jack all because you didn't choose both boxes.

However, the chance remains that the box is 50/50. Or is it?

What's to say that you would ALWAYS get that 1 million or NEVER would get that 1 million from the time you were conceived? This story is about your destiny and what path you'll take when a descision arises.

Ask the being what he sees, and act upon that information, as that is the only fixed variable in this entire situation. Why? Because he knows your fate, and in even KNOWING your fate, has sealed you to it. The only thing you can do is try to break it by knowing it, too. If your fate was to get that million dollars, whats to say your real fate isn't to get mugged (and killed) as soon as you step out the door if you succeeded in either prospect? The solution to this problem is to avoid it entirely and walk out the door - in fact, dont even go into the building and just keep on walking. But then, this would require that you can see into your own future as well to avoid such a situation... SO, the only choice is the third choice you always have: Dont do a damn thing and get the hell out of there!!!

The creature may know what you will do, but, by not telling you, you still have the choice. Every single person that goes into that room will make a 100% free, uninfluenced choice. If you had asked them afterwards if they thought they had made a free choice, they would have said yes.

However, even if the being had told them before which box they would choose, they would still have a choice. If the being had said "You will take box A and B" they can still choose to take box B only. The only issue is, whether or not the creature already knew that, but it still doesn't matter. You still have the choice as to whether you decide which box(es) to take. Even if the creature had said "I will tell you that you will take Box A and B, but then I know that instead you will take box B only, trying to prove me wrong", and you take box A and B, the creature would still have known that. Yes, your choice was influenced, but you still made it. You could have gone for Box B if you wanted.
