There is lots you can do to try and keep a topic "under control" but frankly it takes a PM to a moderator to get the job done, not announcing to everyone that they need to jump back on topic. Yeah, I believe team goatse will just start creating useless chatter in other threads. Maybe it's better to allow that here and keep the congestion off the rest of the forums.
Maybe all this is people trying to keep the thread bumped to first page so it's easier to find.
I have an idea. If your(blackplague) could get some kind of forum up for this contest (with a boasting section, which is what all of the spam here has been) you could have all the mod powers you wanted and things would be run the way you see fit. I'll tell team leren we need to calm down a bit to keep things a bit more mature if that helps.
