<div class="IPBDescription">what are they?</div> I was just wondering what everyone's favorite weapons were and y? This can be for CO or NS. MY favorite weapon for either if I want to win is shotgun. Lately, to improve my skill with it and to just have some fun, I've rushed the GL before getting anything else in CO. It forces me to do better with it when I know that two bites could kill me with lvl0 armor. I'm beginning to like the GL more and more.

I did not mean for this to be a flame fest between pro-HMGs and pro-SG. So keep it peaceful a tell what you prefere.

    As good as I am with an HMG, I can't deny the joy of having a good shotty, specially at high levels where it can scare away an onos.

    SHOTTY, nothing beats the satisaction of a one shot kill coming around a corner and being called a hacker, and who can't love chasing down an onos with one.

    GL for me. Nothing like a little nadespam against helpless gorges to brighten your day. Vent-kills are a plus.

    Then comes the welder. I can proudly say I've gotten over 50 weld-kills in less than a year of playing NS.

    My pistol is a close third. Gotta love the plinkage power. (No scripts either!)

    Shotgun cos its accurate instead of spraying Hmg that requires half luck. I like pistol a lot too, no luck needed!

    Well...exept for hit box, lag bugs...

    Gotta be the shotty. Skill-less people can nubbify fades with lucky shotty shots, and in the hands of the competent its an all round alien shredder. Shotty wins, yes please comm drop me three.

    if im attacking i like a sg (rushing hive)

    Lvl 3 shotty in co for me! Shreds fades like no other! Normal ns... gl (I always seem to be the only one who can hit aliens with it)

    GLs are mythical now <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> which is a shame as I've used them to great effect in every other FPS ever.

    I mean what other weapon allows you to rebound corners, or lob a canister of dewm into a vent to nail that pesky lerk?

    Shotty all the way. LMG takes too much effort for too little damage. HMG is boring...it's the ultimate spray and pray weapon, without the pray. Shotty is a great balance, plus how much more fun can you have than dancing with a focus fade, circle strafing and bhopping him to death?

    Welder FTW! Does less damage than both, with less range too... welded an onos once (okay so the 4 hmgs and 5 shotguns firing at it might have had something to do with it too).

    Honestly, there's just something about timing your scans to wait until that wounded onos is humping the defence chamber, then blowing him up. Preferably along with a couple of other aliens that happened to be nearby for dramatic effect.

    purely depends on the situation. Yet I do not have a fave weapon I guess. I am not getting attached to one weapon.

    That means a playing style always. That means ppl can learn that style. That means ppl can counter that style. Thats not gona happen. I switch on each situation.

    HMG, circle strafe plus my aim.. I don't miss.

    But then again, all you see are walker fades in pubs 3/4 of the time, but eh, I'll still take the HMG over anything.

    You're kidding right... 9 bullets to kill a skuk with an LMG, and 5 with an HMG ...
