can i just emphasize for the last few ppl hav posted that this is a "singleplayer" map, so only 1 person can play it at a time, therefore its not the typa thing u wanna put on a server...

I agree with Keef. I mean, I live in the city and have high speed but only cuz I worked hard for it and then I almost lost it when my health failed and I was forced to quit my job. Most people here are just kids that have many things handed to them .. like money or a nice computer or money for a nice computer or their parents let them use their parent's nice computer, among other things they take for granted (car, going to college, clothes, allowence -- things I never got - I had to get a loan for college and I never had a car or allowence .. ever).
People should think before they put down (or 'dis') other people and think ahead and maybe put yourself in others shoes.
Just be greatful for what you have but don't knock anyone else for what they do NOT have.

p.s. anyone realise there are a couple of screens on the previous page as well

edit: yes it is but ive kept to my own textures cos the ones on the background r a bit pink and wuldnt fit the rest of the map, ive rotated the RR so u spawn facing down the corridor from the same perspective as the menu background as well. the rest i just freestyled

BTW I had dial-up for the longest time ever. And then my dad got AOL *shudder*. If you have dialup just dl it overnight. That's what I do for obscenely large downloads still.

the point was that Rek had said people without hi-speed should not play. Keef has no problem with DL'ing huge things (obviously since he has Steam installed - we ALL know that is not a small install). He just didn't like being told he doesn't have the right to play the precious map.

BTW I had dial-up for the longest time ever. And then my dad got AOL *shudder*. If you have dialup just dl it overnight. That's what I do for obscenely large downloads still.

i just remembered a mapping related dream i had last night though... i finished the map and i gave it to my manager at work to test and he came back and said "its looking pretty good so far... but there are far too many caravans"
