One thing I don't understand however is how some people get so outrageously upset over certain things, and yes this IS a serious topic, I would like to hear what everyone else thinks of it. For example, in the other thread with the anti-bush game, a certain person became extremely angry for something really silly, and insulted as a defense mechanism.

Generally, people are morons, morons upset people, plain and simple. It's not an issue, it's a fact of interweb life.

This generally leads normal people to getting **** off because someone can act like such a moron. If you don't act like you would normally (albeit maybe a bit less shy for most people, with a bit more caution), you're just being dishonest. If this brings out a "Hey, lets cheat at games, make fun of people for no reason (because they can't beat me through a computer screen!), insult people's religion/race/ethnicity/gender/abilities, insult people randomly and screw with people for the heck of it!" in you - you should probably get yourself examined.
Just because people can't stop you from doing something - doesn't mean you should go and do it.
Of course, some people are just way to easily irked out of line. If you get offended by simple swearing, people telling you you're wrong,. people countering your ideas and talking the occasional smack to you - well then the internet's probably not for you (and most of real-life as well).
I guess it would come down to: people expect you to act psuedo-normal. If you go out of your way to **** people off (you know, all purposely like)- you should probably get yourself adjusted on to some Prozac or something <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
If everyone acted decently though, the standards would probably rise - and then a tiny outburst above the norm would annoy people. Let's put it this way. You flame someone on the internet, you flame him back. He doesn't receive any physical injuries whatsoever.

And while I wont lower myself to talk crap back to them it annoys me when there isnt an admin around or something and you cant do anything about "fixing" the problem.

Depends what their getting offended about... If someone makes a personal jab and you get offended, well then your an idiot, they don't know you, what value could what they are saying have? I can understand people who get offended when someone ridicules thier belifes or something of that nature, but I personally make a habit of not really getting offended by anything.

EDIT : And make it blow up in a cool fashion by controlling the internal PC speakers and making the LED blink in short intervals, sort of like in CS XD
So to speak, it is possible. I hear there are some 1337 viruses that will overheat your cpu; a simple email "bomb" will do. Or I suppose if you have the person in mind, why not take the expense of traveling and preparing a powderkeg of anthrex via power button, and what do you know....we have ourselves a ns terrorist. (please do it in the name or monse, or coil, or with 5000plus posts).
Then overheat the CPU \o/
Besides that. I think hydrogen would do, that is if there is a target range of idiots you plan on decimating.
