get rid of all the groove like vent stuff... that can be skinned, adjust sum of the more, overdetailed parts and then it'll be fine, i've got a 6k player model sumwhere, so it's not gonna be that bad
the magic behind gamemodeling is to exactly know what it has to look like in the end and paint small details on the texture instead of modeling it.
