    as for the still looking good part, a good skin can do alot.

    Actualy no I dont think so. Isnt the Specops pack HA custom modeled? Or atleast tweaked?

    So far, I’ve seen only two HA models, one was the original just colored black, and the second just had a big backpack model on it.

    Try to delete some of the more small details and the pc should be just fine around 5000 polies or even a bit more

    get rid of all the groove like vent stuff... that can be skinned, adjust sum of the more, overdetailed parts and then it'll be fine, i've got a 6k player model sumwhere, so it's not gonna be that bad

It's just so very few of my models ever get skins on them either because their not meshed or no one actually wants to skin them :\, but ill do what you say and see what happens (some of my models complete, hopefully) i guess. Alot of my models i do just for fun knowing that they wont get skinned or any where near completion anyway, thats why im learning how to skin <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->. And dark soul, ill try and remodel it but with less detail to see what it comes out like...
