    Let's wait and see when they cancel this project, just like the Battlefleet gothic Movie and Warhammer World for the PC <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm a big GW fan, but I've seen them start so many projects in the past 8 years and nearly every single one of them got cancelled or flopped. GW should stick to tabletop gaming, anything else seems to be cursed for them.

    /me downloads and tries though <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    DoW won't get cancelled now. Its far too close to release, nor do I think its going to flop, as its getting major attention and is being made by Relic. However, while it is fun atm, can't see it challenging the likes of Starcraft or WC3.

    Do you know how long they had already been working on the warhammer morpg? GW doesn't have any problems with cancelling stuff <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    So let me get this straight, this is for just anyone to download, right? You don't have to be some fancy FP subscriber of have signed up for the beta beforehand?

    Edit: also, any idea what FP is like for download managers like Getright?

    Nope. Just sign up to DL it. You have to have a basic account(freE) to get it, though.

    EDIT: Jimmeh'd!

    NINJA EDIT: Did no one read what I put on the last page of the other Warhammer topic? Apparently not. *runs off to cry in the corner* <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    O.k, make that a 3 and a bit hours download if it carries on like this. I've been waiting for this for a looooong time.

    My army, "The Nice Fluffy Bunnies" strike TERROR into the hearts of Chaos, Eldar and Ork alike as they stride accross the map in their pink coloured GLORY!

    Thank f-ing god. If they were as overpowered in the game as they are in the tabletop version the game would be ruined.

    I hate blood angels with a passion, most specifically flesh tearers, most specifically death company. They're FREE and they ignore wounds 50% of the time. "Um, you shot him through the head with a railgun, but he passed his 'ignore injury' save so he's ok!".

    Go Tau!

    Well, I didn't really play Warhammer 40K. Blood Angels were just the coolest of all the ones I read about. They're the pwn.

    Note: By read about, I took all my friends Codex's, and his main rule book thing, and read them all.

    Kinda like Ground Control 2 with all the victory locations and such <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->. Go go GW ripping off other people again <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

    It's kinda funky though, squad upgrades are great and very easy to apply. Models look great, loving the character's voices.

    Not bad for a beta I say.

    According to various things i've read in various places (so i can't provide links) GW had very little to do with the game beyond letting Rellic use the name. Rellic isn't following the Tabletop rules as such, and they are not following the background either. I can't remember the exact quote, but it was something like "We are not making a game based on WH:40K, we're making a game based in that universe" so their limits are not as strict (so X unit doesn't HAVE to completely pwn Y unit and so on).

    Were "WAUGGH!" BAnners in the actual tabletop game?

    I filled out the form but am I missing something as to how I get the CD key?

    Is it sent to the given e-mail? if so I haven't gotten it.
    Is it on the page? if so I didn't see it.

    any clues?

    I'm afraid that that won't work, I already filled that out, as I noted in my post
  • TychoCelchuuuTychoCelchuuu Anememone Join Date: 2002-03-23 Member: 345Members
    Well, once you fill it out you need to send it to them.

    Or something.

    If memory serves that should just boot you to a page with the CD-Key right there.
