Try logging in with your gamespy ID on the gamespy webby and then follow the link to the fileplanet website and *then* clicking the "form" link. I had some trouble with it as well, it's important that you're properly logged in before you fill in the form.

It's kinda funky though, squad upgrades are great and very easy to apply. Models look great, loving the character's voices.
Not bad for a beta I say. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> I don't know what WH40k 3rd edition is like, but half the objectives in the 2nd edition were based on holding areas of the tabletop. Precious, precious Victory Points.

Hi guys,
My review? I worked for 5 years for GW, and I'm feeling really let down by this. Where is the trademark Relic polish? Where are half the units? Why, when we were told there'd be no resource collecting, the 'Take & Hold' theme basically amounts to resource collecting without the collectors? Why am I building buildings?
I had very high hopes for this game, and I'm still quite impressed. But it's not Relic quality, it's not 2004 RTS quality, and it's not the quality of game I'd hope GW would finally learn & produce.
I also hoped it would perform better. Seeing as the code for Homeworld II had already been written, why <b>don't</b> Falcon Grav Tanks jink & skim around as they fire? Why do Ork Speed Freek buggies stop & fire, instead of ragging around spraying bullets wildly? Why do Warp Spiders walk by default?
<b>Why, oh why oh why</b>, do all 4 sides feel exactly the same with more or less armour/units/firepower (delete as appropriate) when Blizzard managed to create a game with sides that truly felt different 5 years ago?
If this is a beta, I'm hoping there's a lot of changes to come, because otherwise I feel the liscence has been ruined.

After that good old Shockwave whine (can I have some cheese with that wam bam thank you m'am) medley, time for good reviews again:
I looooove the Ork speech. The part when they start singing "Orks orks orks orks orks" etc, cracked me up <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->.
Shockwave, this is, you must remember, a beta. If it was good enough to make you want to buy it, they would have shipped it and made money already. You are beta testing, not beta playing. The purpose is to find bugs and glaring gameplay errors, not to let everyone have as much fun as possible.
Ze above was copied and pasted from an earlier post, but it still works.
Beta testing is both searching for bugs AND gameplay problens. When the game goes into open beta, then most things they are testing are the gameplay mechanics.
Being in beta doesn't protect it from any form of criticism. Remember that.
Yeah, yeah, I know. But they're working on the balance right now, and the balance is what is going to make the sides feel different. That and totally redoing the game, but no hope for that, eh?

Tycho - I'm fully aware of that. I'm picking holes in the fact that they might make a perfect RTS, but gameplay wise all 4 sides are precisely the same side, currently. And that saddens me greatly.
I registered for this and have a CD key, but found I couldn't be bothered waiting for the download since I'm on 56k. If anyone wants the code just PM me.
orcs have the single most over powered unit in the game its that huge lizard thingy that you can only build one of 8000 health does 6000 melee damage per seconed and 4000 ranged damange per seconed GG balancing <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

They're super units. They kick ****. They have actually been toned down quite a bit (the Eldar one was <i>insane</i>, and regenerated it's health quite fast too). The ork one isn't all that powerful, really. The right mix of units take it down quite fast, especially if you tie it up with cheap close combat units.
And i've always thought that the gretchen sound like Smeagle/Gollum (obviously <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ).

I was in tut mode too. You need a Chaos Sorcerer or one of the big general dudes with Scythes. You have to summon the Demon onto one of 'em. They become the Demon.

True but a well defended base and diverse squads will also completely own a rush of dreadnaughts. I've been on the giving and receiving end of a vehicle-cap maxed out entirely by dreadnaughts and while they're 'ard as nails, they're still defeatable. Mines work incredibly well.

Two issues have arisen though;
1. Does anyone know if there's a way to move the camera? I can zoom in and out, but how to I turn my view left+right, or up+down?
2. Does anyone else think the gretchen sound like goblins? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
As far as i've seen vehicles are a little overpowered, but that may change soon... I hope.
