and Sid - my advice is to not worry about it... in a couple years when you stop growing, your metabolism will stabilize... I'm 6'6" and was like 140lbs from age ~15 to ~19... now I'm 165 or so, which is still damn skinny, but I'm not in danger of dying or being carried away by the breeze anymore...
of course exercise is good, but who wants to do THAT when it's so much more comfy to sit at home in your computer chair?! <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> You must be a skeleton. I'm only 6'2" but I'm the same weight as you and I'm still a skinny guy

I thought with all of the weight loss stuff going around in this thread that I would contribute a little something.
The best exercise program you can do is something you enjoy. Half of anything you do is mental. If you keep telling yourself you're going to lose weight, you will forge paths in you mind and start doing little things without even noticing that will contribute to weight loss.
I just started taking Jujitsu about 2 months ago. I've had some basic military PT (from when I was in Civil Air Patrol) and other standard exercise stuff, but nothing ever helped me created solid muscle, muscle tone, etc. Yet, I've noticed some differences in just a two month period, and I know much of it has to do with the fact that I love jujitsu training. Not that it is for everybody, mind you, but it has worked for me.
Being balanced healthwise and mentally will allow your body to naturally reach a perfect equilibrium for you.
Oh yeah, do <b>not</b> take pills to "help" you lose weight (aka Stacker 2). Remember the imfamous "speed pills" of the 1980's? Anyone that has seen Reqium for a Dream knows what I'm referring to. Anyways, if you take these pills you will lose weight and get addicted to a potentially dangerous drug.
Peh, I agree with whoever said she deserved to die. Yeah, its harsh, but a slob thats too lazy to move and becomes a half couch woman deserves to die, I believe, or join a damn circus, thats utterly disgusting how she was living.
...lol, every time I think of her I think of that talking chair in Peewee's Playhouse, lmfao, she could have been its backup, or maybe a mascot for sof express that "enjoyed the chair so much I couldnt move for six god damn years and became half couch!" Would have been awsome if she could fly, she could have been a super hero, the couch woman, delivering justice by the ton with just a hint of leather. Evil doers, beware.

And no, I'm not a cruel person that gets kicks torturing squirrels in my backyard (the bastards), I'm actually very compassionate and hate even picking leaves off of trees sometimes because I believe the tree really is alive and can feel it. Weird, huh?
Oh, and I'm the same exact build as you, Sid. Join a football team like myself.. I've got a scrimmage in six and a half hours. I need to get some sleep.. but I eat like a flipping monster, AND hardly work out. Playing football I start to see results of muscles I have, then work them out to build them. Like everyone else said, dont eat to gain weight, excerise. And if you dont, dont worry about it. Nothings wrong with you, your just skinny, theres another kid exactally like me on the same football team. As long as your not rapidly loosing weight, yer fine!

Oh, and on the subject of medical drugs:
You > Drugs.
