And what about ninjas? They roll too! I haven't been able to find a picture of a ninja rolling, but I bet a ninja would flip out and kill the barrel and the tire if they tried to outroll him.

Also, the barrel has a few advantages over the tire. For example, tires can't explode, while barrels can, and the tire will often fall on its side, making further rolling difficult, while the barrel has no such problem.

I vote fore the tire because its effectively more entertaining than Doom 3 once you've beat it for the first time. As it stands now I'd rather roll a tire around in a circle than play Doom 3 again.

Yeah, that really sucks that they don't let you stand on stuff. I mean, I tried to stand on this barrel, and I was climbing on, then this police officer said, "Hey, you can't do that!" So I just look at him for a second, and then he starts shooting at me. Another guy shows up and hits me with some tear gas, and a third knocks me out.Next thing I know, I'm in a filthy prison cell, waiting for my trial. They let me off with a warning (and a savage beating).

They really, really won't let you on those barrels.

If a tyre rolls in doom3, but there is no light to see it, does it roll?

Also: I think in FarCry, the hang glider level, you can push a barrel over and jump on it for rolly down the hilly funness. But I hate those monkies so I say HL2 tyre wins.

Chasing the tire(s) and pushing things arround is all I do, havent even been on a server as of yet... Oh wait I was on a 2 player server with a m8 of mine, all we did was push the tire(s) and stuff arround or shooting it <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

That could perhaps be the most useful thing in this thread(no sarcasm- I'm serious.)

BTW, all you folks bashing DOOM 3: Stop following the fad, play the game, get some balls, stand in the rain, and learn that DOOM 3 is a horror game not half-life.

Its not that scary at all, maybe the first part where you only have a gun and flashlight, but after that its just killing meanies in the shadows <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif' />

Run towards them either using shotty or chainsaw and they die very fast (big basteds not included of course)
