No, I think he did. Said "guy" who will not be named, had been making numberous whines and was all over me for being one of those people who oppose the existance of the blockscripts cvar. Later we all went on to talk about other things and I posted a link to this thread about optical mice to answer someone else's question and he piped up said the above... that's why it's so funny. It proves the stupidity in a laughable way

Not sure but I do know it's one of the active forum members here who loves to flame and is highly opposed to scripting. since this is threadomanced, anyone tried the MX1000? My mouse is beginning to show some wear and I'm hesitating between 1000 and 510.
• Pepe_MuffassaPepe_Muffassa Join Date: 2003-01-17 Member: 12401Members
Well, the 510 is a beaut, very precise, and well worth the ~50$

I read a TomsHardware review, and they said they liked the mx1000 even better than the 510 - rounding in at ~80$.

My personal thought - having owned the mx700 - wireless is fun. However, it is heavy at times. The lithium batteries will last a while (toms said 2 weeks without any need for a recharge) but batteries do still tend to wear out after a while (not hold a charge as well).

Will I buy the 1000? probably not (still have the 700 - don't use it though). Should you buy the 1000? If you want to try wireless, go for it. If you are content being chained to your pc, then the 510 is better.

Hey I'm most likely the only person who looks though the whole forum rather than just the first page!

I can't help it if that makes me a threadomancer, it's good to keep the forum full of useful information.

PS: I'm a big fan of pruning, merging, and deleting topics so that the non-first pages of the forum stay clean and not a wasteland of spam and locked topics. But that is the primary reason why people are afraid of me becoming a forum moderator. They're afraid I might clean up the forums like Zunni did with I&S.

I mean, don't overdo the self promotion, that would be silly.

- Shockwave

And yes, the Intellimouse Explorer is actually excellent, especially for an MS mouse.

It's five buttons of DooooooM! (Actualy seven is more accurate: mouse1, mouse2, mouse3, mouse4, mouse5, mouseup, mousedown)

It's reliable, accurate, and I don't have issues with it skipping. So easy tracking even on my sensitivity setting (10.00000) and accurate. Therefore = ftw.

I've used it to kill many millions of enemy players and monsters in various games. Thumbs sticks suck. Sorry XBOX.
