I thought you guys knew about the [psyche] HTML command? Obviously not... <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
This isn't the first time I've run into disgustingly stupid PSYCHIC WEBSITE OMJ! things.
Another one had you pick a number (1-9, I think), then go through some addition and subtraction to make it a different number, click a button, it'll give you a symbol to represent your number, and if you look for your number up in a table, it'll have the symbol next to it!
The symbols even changed!
And different numbers could have the same symbols!
INCREDIBLE!
EDIT: Isamil <a href='http://addictinggames.com/mindreader.html' target='_blank'>beat me to it.</a>

Pretty nice trick. Seemed oddly familiar to me, which is why I caught it in a matter of seconds after clicking the eye (as we are all so proud of claiming).
However, I cannot help but make a snide remark here: I get a sneaking suspicion that those of you who go "olo this is stupid and so is the guy who made it" are just grumpy because they spent a sleepless night trying to figure out how it works. To preserve the thread, write me a PM if you need to flame. Be aware that this will cause me to mock you PERSONALLY. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The card order is different between the two pages. First order: <span style='color:red'>K</span>JK<span style='color:red'>Q</span>Q<span style='color:red'>J</span> The second (choosing red King): <span style='color:red'>Q</span>K<span style='color:red'>J</span>Q<span style='color:red'>K</span> - The Black J was removed
In fact, the black J is ALWAYS removed... For me, at least.
This is quite simple, all it shows is that at a conscious level our brain does not pay attention to the the other cards except the one that you pick to remember. Since you don't remember the other cards all it does is make a new set, minus one card (which is suppose to be the one you picked) when in fact it's a completely different set, but see, your brain didn't look at the first set consciously enough to realize this. I think that's it anyways. Ata subliminal level your brain knows, which is why most people get that awkward feeling when they get the new set.

There's probably an easy way to "legitimately" do this using a mouseover function. But yeah, amusing.
The other one, with the numbers, I got in two numbers -- Picked 22 (answer = 18) and then 68 (answer = 54) and lo and behold, those two numbers both had the same symbol next to them!
54 -> 45 80 -> 72 14 -> 9 35 -> 27
Notice how every single final # is a multiple of 9. Nice.
I saw a similar game where you had to go through all sorts of mathematical hurdles. Finally you end up with 9, from which you subtract 4 and get 5. Then the "magician" asks you to think of the letter of the alphabet that corresponds to that number (E), and then think of an animal that starts with that letter.
"Is it an elephant?" 99% of the time it is. *YOU* come up with another animal that starts with E in 5 seconds.
oh wait now i get it, they take away your card, and the rest of the cards are left over... i was saying red queen for the longest time, and im like DAMMIT! IT DOESNT WORK! WHY DO I KEEP GETTING THE RED QUEEN! WHY WONT IT LEAVE. then i figured out it was all a lie because theres a diamond queen and a haert queen. i feel to betrayed. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
